Painting by a young British artist Chloe Early attracts attention literally from the first second. Moreover, not only with the richness of colors and harmoniously selected shades, but also with the form: the pictures that will be discussed are written on round plates, which makes them resemble huge brooches or decorative painted plates that adorn the walls. Immediately there is a desire to remove them from the hooks and examine them closer. The circular paintings of a young artist may seem monotonous. Most often, Chloe depicts young women floating in the air, dressed in tight-fitting suits like sports leotards or swimwear. They look like aerial gymnasts doing somersaults, or divers who practice techniques, although the colorful background, often decorated with rose bushes and picturesque paint smudges, is not at all associated with sports. Most likely, the heroines of the artist's unique paintings simply sleep and see colored dreams.
The strange plots, ideas and images that Chloe Earley uses in her painting are very easy to explain. As a teenager, she read science fiction, was keenly interested in adventures, parallel worlds, fantastic creatures and other fairy tales for adults. Later, the young artist's favorite books were the works of Haruki Murakami, Sai Twombl and David Mitchell, which give her creative inspiration.
Impressed by her favorite books, Chloe Earley creates her amazing round paintings, in which a parallel world borders on the real, fiction - on reality, and fantastic creatures live side-by-side with real people. The creative works of the British artist are presented in the London art gallery StolenSpace Gallery.
