The human body is one of the themes explored in her work by Dutch artist and photographer Margi Geerlinks. The discrepancy and confrontation between the inner world and the outer shell of a person is revealed through the theme of birth and time. Margi Geerlinks' photographs are very popular with viewers, in addition, her work is also represented in the Elton John collection.
The subject of the works is the human body, its creation and the ephemeral nature of the ego. Looking at the pictures of a photographer from Holland, we see a woman knitting a child, another embroidering a human ear, a man sewing a boy on a sewing machine, a girl crocheting her breasts.
Although the artist Margie Ghirlinks manipulates the human body, her works are devoid of vulgarity, cruelty, they are not ugly. Everything seems natural. Photographs are definite metaphors. The artist exposes general feelings and emotions: the desire to grow (a girl who knits her breasts cannot wait until she finally becomes an adult), the desire to appear young (an old woman who rejuvenates by applying powder to her face, or a man who sews a boy's costume for himself, to return to the past carefree years), nostalgia (an elderly woman embroiders her ear, thinking about someone), and also sadness. Children strive to speed up the future, the starks are trying in every possible way to turn back time.
Born in 1970, Margie Gearlinks studied fine arts at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. He currently lives and works in Rotterdam, Holland. Her work is extremely popular in Amsterdam, Brussels and the United States of America.

Today, when almost every schoolchild can buy hosting and place his own blog on the Internet, it is difficult to imagine that once there were no newspapers in the world. And it all began in Ancient Rome somewhere in the middle of the 2nd century AD with wooden tablets

But we rarely remember how beautiful they are in their natural habitat. The British Wildlife Photography Award is dedicated to live photographs of real life of animals
Underwater photography that doesn't look like underwater photography: a photography project from Adeline Mai
We have written about underwater photography more than once, but the peculiarity of this series of photographs, created by 20-year-old girl-photographer Adeline Mai, is that the water in it does not look like water. Rather, they are people immersed in the ether, who appear before us in an extreme degree of purity and harmlessness
