And you do not suffer addiction to social media? If yes, then you are not alone - it seems that this fad is mowing down millions of such calm and sane people yesterday. Flashmobniks-entertainers from the art group Improv Everywhere also decided to criticize this "plague" by preparing a very unusual presentation- flash mob with a musical element. So, the place of action: the conference of innovators Gel Conference … Agents, let's start!
Gel Conference is a serious and respected event imbued with the spirit of innovation and technology. No one is surprised when another speaker enters the scene and begins to paint the wide horizons of a new social service. Twirlr, which knows how to turn off all mobile devices and therefore will be very useful, for example, at presentations and conferences … Suddenly a man jumps up and starts singing right off the bat in a perfectly set voice: "Do you want to turn off the devices for us ?!". Everyone understands that something unusual is starting. The man continues: "Excuse me, sir - but against me. Live online is my destiny!" The speaker is amazed, but everything is just beginning.
A man sings about how he sits in twitter while eating; he is supported by a girl who has jumped up, who confesses to an immoderate addiction to Skype … Another quietly seated black listener also begins to sing about how he will post what is happening on Vimeo … They form a chorus that chants: " Gotta share! Gotta share!"(" Share! Share! "), And more and more new participants enter the hall unusual presentation- musical.
Exposure social media addiction continues with new self-proclaimed singers: "Great! Great! Here is a new personal status - you will see it later …" - "On Facebook with my cat!". "Share your secrets and strange stories," the choir of 29 people ironically calls on.
The confused speaker suddenly revives and … also responds with a song. "I didn’t think you were all so disconnected … I’ll free you on Facebook, because our song has obviously become fashionable." It was all one huge joke, and the very idea of the "Twirlr service that turns off all devices" is just a joke from the founder of Improv Everywhere, Charlie Todd.
Or maybe we should really turn off all this electronic nonsense and eliminate our addiction to social media? Everyone will decide for himself, but for now, Improv Everywhere is recording this unusual "presentation"- performance - in my opinion, the best in performance and idea (even in comparison with the performance in Bryant Park). Social Media Propaganda Poster: A series of concise and inventive social media posters
Like the tentacles of a giant Octopus, social networks embrace, envelop the entire Internet, penetrating deeper and deeper into it, and more and more densely sitting in the mind of a person, eating a fair chunk of his time (mainly a worker), and sometimes occupying an important position in his life. Social networks are friends and enemies, they have fun, love, sell and buy … In light of this popularity, it is not surprising that the American artist Justonescarf depicted social networks in a series of his posters called Soc
