There are authors who create serious works that rightfully occupy a place in the collections of famous world museums and are printed on the pages of art publications. And there are others whose work is unlikely to ever go beyond the Internet blogosphere and videos on Youtube - just such is our today's hero FlippyCat. His creations from dominoes do not even claim to be serious works of art, but they make the viewer smile, and this, you see, is already a lot in our time of constant depression and anxiety.

Of course, everyone knows the expression "domino effect" - that one change necessarily entails a number of other changes. FlippyCat's creativity is just about that. From dominoes, the author builds amazing structures, which he then ruthlessly destroys with his own hands. We do not know the real username of FlippyCat, as, however, we do not know everything else: place of residence, occupation, age. So we can only guess what a person should be who is ready to erect domino structures for hours only in order to then observe their spectacular fall for a few seconds.

Basically, on the same Youtube you can find a lot of authors working in a similar vein, so the work of FlippyCat is not unique. On the other hand, he is distinguished from other domino lovers by his huge imagination, a variety of plots and an excellent sense of humor. And, probably, also exceptional patience, because to create each structure, not even hundreds, but thousands of dominoes are required. Among the works of FlippyCat there are flags of various states, and a portrait of Mona Lisa, and various logos, and, of course, a portrait of a black and white cat named Flippy, which has become a kind of visiting card of domino history.

For two years, FlippyCat has been conducting its blogwhere he uploads a video of all his work.
