Street artist and illustrator Diogo Machado, also known by his pseudonym Add Fuel, presented an impressive new work on one of the streets of Lisbon. This time, Machado created a stunning illusion that made some of the townspeople uncomfortable with its plausibility.
Looking at the peeling paint, behind which the bizarre patterns of ceramic tiles are clearly visible, passers-by ceased to believe their eyes. Indeed, Machado's work can hardly be mistaken for a drawing on an ordinary electrical panel. The artist this time did not deviate from his principles - his work has always been distinguished by a special scrupulousness and attention to detail.
So, in a series of illustrations dedicated to funny monstrous creatures, Machado's talent manifested itself in full. Such a stunning jumble of images and colors is difficult to find in the work of other contemporary authors. No wonder that funny monsters and mutants fell in love with a wide audience, which the artist took advantage of, deciding to sell his works in the form of all kinds of prints on T-shirts, posters and a variety of designer toys.
Diogo was born in 1980 in Portugal. His work, starting from the earliest works, was distinguished by visual complexity and attention to the elaboration of details that could give new meanings to the entire work. Today Diogo Machado is a recognizable artist whose work adorns the walls of many contemporary art galleries.
