Recently it became known that the fantasy saga "The Lord of the Rings" by the famous British writer John Ronald Ruel Tolkien will be turned into a full-length cartoon anime.
The project was launched under the name "War of the Rohirrim". According to the plot, it will be about the king of one of the states of the people of Middle-earth Rohan, Helma Hammerhand. The project managers report that the casting of the actors who will be engaged in the voice acting of the characters has now begun.
The anime will be directed by Japanese animator Kenji Kamiyama, creator of the sci-fi manga Ghost in the Shell. The big screens will show the theatrical version of the epic - only 558 minutes, and the trailer fit from scenes from the extended director's version with a duration of 726 minutes.
