Street art - a breath of fresh air for gray cities. On the site Kulturologiya. Ru, we regularly talk about how, through the efforts of artists, ordinary houses are transformed into real art objects, and the streets form open-air museums. Today we will talk about creativity Natalia Rak, one of the most talented contemporary artists Poland.
The Polish city of Lodz is a true cradle of street art. Here you can see the stunning graffiti of Přemek Blažík, one of the pioneers of street art in the country. Natalia Rak, who was educated at the Lodz University of Fine Arts, also works here. The works of this promising 27-year-old artist decorate the walls of houses, striking with their huge size, bright colors and a special optimistic mood. Most often, she paints portraits of women, in which the realism of the image is surprisingly combined with elements of fantasy.
Natalia Rak has been fond of painting since she was 10, and two years ago she decided to use walls for her experiments instead of the usual canvas. The results were impressive: the craftswoman has numerous exhibitions in her homeland, in Lodz, as well as in other European cities. Drawings by Natalia Rak could be seen in galleries in Munich, Berlin, Vienna … and even overseas, in the USA. Last year she took part in the prestigious Walk and Talk street art festival in Madeira, Portugal.
