The real challenge for the Royal Horticultural Society of Britain was a garden without a single real flower, plant or blade of grass, presented at the Chelsea Flower Show. James May, host of British TV show Top Gear, sculpted it out of plasticine!
James's idea shocked many experts in the field of gardening, but visitors to the exhibition were delighted and admired the plasticine garden almost more willingly than real flowers.
May spent 2.5 tons of plasticine in 24 shades on his garden. He admits that he loves flowers, but does not know anything about them and does not even have his own garden.
James claims that he never played with plasticine as a child. Maybe that's why he sculpts plasticine apples and tulips with such enthusiasm, becoming an adult?
