But they all relate to the theme of beauty, drama and rarity in wildlife, and in my drawings I glorify them, - says the artist. “My works convey a sense of wonder in the natural world, a sense of humor, a sense of abundance and, most importantly, they convey beauty at a time when it is becoming increasingly rare.”
"Kevin Sloane's paintings," writes The Arizona Daily Star, "contain a premonition of a miracle akin to what we experience when we crack the dry surface of a pomegranate to find wet blood-red grains inside."
