Initially, the sculptures of a young Korean woman Jin Young Yu were exhibited like this: in a gallery with many corners and columns, they were placed in secluded corners, and the audience in the first minutes thought that they were in an empty room, and only then found figures of people here and there. The search process was complicated by the fact that the sculptures are transparent and it is not so easy to find them.
The sculptor says that her work is dedicated to the so-called "invisible people." Whom does she classify in such an unusual category? “My works are about those people who, instead of maintaining relationships with other people, keep their distance and thus become invisible, those around them are absolutely indifferent to them. And instead of trying to adapt to this world, such people live in their own space and reject the interference of others in their lives."
Jin Young Yu says that the faces of her sculptures are deliberately devoid of bright emotions and rather expressionless. In fact, "invisible people" are not insensitive. They also worry and cry in the same way, but try to hide their tears behind a mask of indifference and coldness. It is these inexpressive faces, according to the sculptor, that repel other people from the “invisibles”, because it is not clear what exactly is hidden behind these masks.
Jin Young Yu refused to use glass in her works, because she considers it not transparent enough: "Place a piece of paper with a design behind a glass cup and you will see how the image is distorted." After a long search, the author came to the conclusion that the most suitable material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is used to laminate photographs or documents. The faces and other accessories are made of clay, and the sculptures are full-length.
Jin Young Yu also refers to himself as "invisible". For example, at parties, she stands in the corner of the room and dreams of returning home. When the sculptor was convinced that there were many people like her, a whole series of works about them was born.

As a rule, child actors who come to the set at school age rarely associate their fate with the acting profession in the future. So it happened with the main characters of the revolutionary-heroic "The Tale of the Boy-Kibalchish": Seryozha Ostapenko played only 2 roles in the cinema, and Seryozha Tikhonov - 3. It's amazing how their lives developed in the future: the actor who played the one who fought with the "bourgeois" Malchisha-Kibalchisha, forever went to these same "bourgeois" and built a successful career
