Not everyone manages to carry their affection for a partner after years, but this couple has been married for more than half a century - 68 years, and their feelings for each other are still deep and strong. For their wedding anniversary, 87- and 86-year-old grandparents ordered a photo shoot in the autumn forest, and this is what came of it.
Photographer Maegan Lutz, whose photo was booked by the elderly couple, sincerely admires the couple: “They exuded love that I have never captured before. Even after 68 years of marriage, he was completely fascinated by his wife. He literally could not letting her hands out of his and kissing her at every opportunity. This is the most sincere affection I have ever seen. For 69 years of marriage, they had two children, six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Moreover, they traveled all the US states together. Is this not a dream life!"
As Mr. and Mrs. Reinehamer told about themselves, they have always led a very simple life. They have been living in the same house almost all the time since the wedding. They have a small minivan in which they have traveled together over 50 states in America. But as both of them admit, the most wonderful thing in their life is not even travel, but daily joint dinners, when the two of them sit together in the kitchen, drink coffee and discuss the past day. When the photographer asked them about the problems, they laughed and said, "well, problems are usually much easier to solve if you put them off until tomorrow."
