The world of wonders, filled with a fairytale spirit, fantasy and humor, where behind every zigzag of a forest trail awaits a beautiful miracle of art, created by human hands, is located in the town of Marysville, which is 100 kilometers from Melbourne in Australia. This world full of mystery and magic was named - garden of Bruno Torfs, sculptor from South America, who is the "main magician", and at the same time the author of this unique garden, "inhabited" by fabulous inhabitants.
An American by birth, an artist by training, Bruno Torfs traveled almost all continents, and having found his place in the sun in Australia, he decided to fulfill his long-standing dream - to transform the environment into a fantastic fairy-tale world.
The sculptor settled with his family on the outskirts of Marysville, near the rainforest. Wanting to realize his bold idea, the master gradually inhabited the forest thickets with bizarre fantastic characters, heroes of myths and legends from the pages of children's books, mythological and religious subjects. He sculpted them out of clay and carved them out of wood and roots. Initially, the artist created fifteen sculptural compositions, the number of which eventually increased to one hundred and fifty. Thus, Bruno turned the forest thicket into a mythical universe.
Fairy-tale characters, organically inscribed in the environment, could be seen in the most inconspicuous and unexpected places, they literally grew out of the ground, delighting, and sometimes frightening, tourists and local residents walking in the garden.
And literally ten years ago, as a result of a strong forest fire, the entire garden practically burned out, the house and the Bruno Torfs picture gallery were also completely burnt down. He and his family managed to escape by a miracle, and the city itself then suffered greatly from the fire element.
But fortunately, the residents managed to save most of the works of the magic garden, which inspired the master to restore the sculptures lost in the fire. The artist is still working on creating his new masterpieces.
And each new work of the master is a unique harmonious connection between the creation of human hands and nature itself. Sculptures, molded from clay and carved from the roots of fallen trees, appear before visitors to the garden as an integral part of it. And every time Bruno manages to surprise the audience with the flight of his imagination, artistic skill and content of the work.
And what is interesting, filling some compositions with deep philosophical meaning, others with romanticism, and still others with comedy and even tragedy, the sculptor creates his own motley company of heroes who organically "get along" on the territory of his garden.
Peat, using various fairy-tale and mythical plots, creates performances that are distinguished by extraordinary reliability and believability and, at the same time, a fantastic concept, thereby evoking unforgettable impressions and emotions among visitors.
And finally, I would like to note that what began with fifteen clay sculptures, a few years later, has become one of the most unusual and spectacular places in Australia, annually visited by thousands of tourists who are attracted by the magical mysterious world and its fabulous inhabitants.
For those wishing to virtually visit the unique wonderful garden of Bruno Torfs, to feel the atmosphere of the unity of nature and man, to get amazing impressions and emotions - the next video.
Using natural materials, many artists around the world turn to the technique of root plastics and create exclusive works that stun the viewer with their imagination and skill. Sculptures-ghosts, animals from snags, portraits from fragments of wood, created by nature and by the hands of masters, hardly anyone will be left indifferent.

What attracts tourists to the tower in Sri Lanka, which is terribly even for daredevils to climb
Ambuluwawa in Sri Lanka is perhaps the most terrifying of all the towers. Climbing it is not just creepy, but very creepy, because the closer you get to the top, the narrower the spiral staircase becomes. And you look down - and you see an abyss. And the low railings with a fairly large distance between the posts only add to the fear. However, the gorgeous views from this tower and the opportunity to take selfies in super-extreme conditions force even those who are afraid of heights to climb to the very top
