Although he has not been to Russia for almost a quarter of a century, it is difficult to find a person in the post-Soviet space who would not have heard this name - Oleg Popov. Fate decreed that the most popular Soviet clown of 1991 lives in Germany, not far from Nuremberg, in the small German village of Egloffstein. Here he is known under the stage name "Happy Hans". Over the years, he never learned German, and speaks exclusively in Russian with his beautiful wife Gabriela. He goes to the arena even at 86, continues to tour, and the audience always welcomes him with a bang! This is understandable - after all, real clowns do not age. On November 3, 2016, Oleg Popov passed away. He died on tour in Rostov-on-Don.

Today it is worth remembering about Leonida Yengibarova - the saddest clown in the USSR and Vysotsky's favorite artist, who has gone from misunderstanding at home to international recognition.
