With creativity Viktor Hertz, illustrator and graphic design master, readers of Cultural Studies have known each other for a long time. He is known for his love of minimalism, which helps to create stylish music posters and play with the logos and brands of world famous companies, and he does it in such a way that the resonance is so powerful and loud that the author's name continues to sound even several years after its release. the last art project. Recently, Viktor Hertz saddled his favorite "horse" again and presented the world with a series of posters Pictogram Rock Posters, in which he turned rock music into minimalist posters. The author himself calls the Pictogram Rock Posters series ambitious, and believes that this is perhaps the best of all projects that he has created. For a musical and graphic art project, the artist chose several rock bands and solo performers, and turned their songs into pictograms, which he depicted on posters. It turned out to be a kind of rebus that only true fans of rock music can solve, who know by heart the entire discography of their favorite artists.
The musical and graphic art project of Viktor Hertz was launched on January 15, 2012, and less than six months later, a total of 234 popular and loved by many songs became pictograms. The artist chose to work with the work of rock musicians such as David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. It is a little embarrassing that there are no female names in this list, but the artist promises to improve in the following art projects.
