Evgenia Khanaeva became truly famous after filming the film "The Joke", where she played a wise teacher and became a real standard of a teacher. In life, everything was much more complicated. The first love

Representatives of the capital's elite on the course were she and Konstantin Gradopolov, the son of the famous Soviet boxer and film actor Konstantin Gradopolov. Evgenia Khanaeva, despite her non-standard appearance, did not remain alone for long. At one of the New Year's parties, she met the son of the chief accountant of the Moscow Art Theater, Anatoly Uspensky. The young man made a lot of efforts to win the girl's heart. Every day he gave her huge bouquets of flowers, took out scarce French perfume. And in the end, she agreed to his proposal.
She then had almost no roles in the theater, and she had not yet acted in films. Perhaps then the actress thought that she could find her happiness in family and motherhood. Evgenia and Alexey signed, in 1953 their son Vladimir was born.
But Evgenia Nikandrovna less and less wanted to be at home. She lingered in the theater, and sometimes even stayed there overnight. In 1966, she asked her husband for a divorce.
Payback for love
She never shared her experiences with colleagues, many of them did not even know what was happening in her life. We only noticed how often she spends time with actor Lev Ivanov. The spiteful critics even called the actress home and told her 12-year-old son the details of his mother's life. It was then that Evgenia Nikandrovna made the decision to divorce. The son stayed with his father.
The actress simply disappeared from their life. She did not call, did not ask for meetings. It seemed that she simply erased her family from life. The son saw his mother only on the screen. Not understanding the reasons why she refuses to communicate with him, he watched films with her participation and, of course, worried. At the same time, the father never said a single bad word about his ex-wife.
According to colleagues, Evgenia Nikandrovna was a very delicate, noble and decent person. Refusal to communicate with your own child could be the payment for the love that the actress appointed herself.
After all, she really loved. And she left the family, excluding the possibility of leading a double life and lying to loved ones. Lev Ivanov was married and could not leave his sick wife. However, Khanaeva never demanded this. She was just happy to be next to her beloved, to hear his voice, to hold his hand in her hands.
Forgiveness and goodbye
She was returning home in her own car and braked sharply, trying to avoid a collision. The head of the actress at that moment leaned back strongly. There was a displacement of the vertebrae, after which the actress began to have a severe headache. The pain soon passed, and a month later it returned.
She went to doctors and healers, but nothing helped her. The actress went on stage every day, acted in films and only occasionally complained to her colleagues about the unbearable torment. It got to the point that standing at the open window of her own apartment, she seriously thought about suicide. As a result of the displacement of the vertebrae, she developed a tumor.
And only then did she call her son. They met, Vladimir did not ask her a single question about the past, she also did not raise this topic. In 1987, she was offered an operation, honestly warning: the result is unpredictable.
After the operation, she never came out of the coma. She did not find out about the award of the title of People's Artist of the USSR and did not appear on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater after its separation. She passed away on November 8, 1987. Three years later, Lev Ivanov died, unable to cope with the loss of his beloved woman.
