Why the daughter of Vladimir Etush did not communicate with her father for almost 10 years

Vladimir Abramovich Etush, one of the most famous actors in the USSR, was actually married four times. And only one woman, Nina Krainova, with whom they lived together for almost half a century, gave him the happiness of fatherhood. The only daughter of the actor Raisa Etush inherited not only the profession, but also the character of her father. How could it happen that close people could not find a common language and stopped all communication for 7 long years?

Starting a family

Vladimir Etush and Nina Krainova met in Sochi in 1952. By that time, both of them already had the experience of a not very successful family life, but this did not prevent mutual sympathy and the continuation of their acquaintance after the end of the vacation. Soon, young people legalized their relationship, and Nina Krainova moved from Baku to Moscow to her husband. For some time they lived in a hotel, and when their daughter was born, they received a small apartment.

Vladimir Etush seemed to be afraid to spoil his daughter with excessive love, the acquisition of gifts, all sorts of tenderness. But with pleasure he went with her to the circus, took to all children's performances in the theater.

When her daughter set out to become an actress, Vladimir Abramovich was categorically opposed. But Raisa was a character in her father: she not only dared to disobey, but also entered the Shchukin school, where he taught.

When fans began to come to his daughter, he often expressed his negative attitude towards them. He never allowed himself to be rude to a young man who liked Raisa, but when he was alone with his daughter he simply said that he would not like to see such a young man next to her.

Sergei Trofimenko graduated from MGIMO and managed to please the parents of his future wife. Vladimir Etush made friends with his son-in-law and even changed an apartment so that the young people would have their own home. Raisa and Sergei lived together for only six years, and Vladimir Abramovich perceived their divorce as a personal tragedy, considering his daughter to be guilty of the breakup of the family. When Raisa married American Peter Wolfe, Vladimir Etush on the day of the painting literally stood on his knees in front of his daughter, begging her not to associate life with a foreigner. The father was a patriot of his country, so he took his daughter's departure to the United States very painfully. The daughter did everything in her own way, in spite of her parents, who put too much pressure on her.

The marriage with Peter did not last long, Raisa Vladimirovna returned to her homeland. Soon she married again and again to an American. This time it was very serious. She married already pregnant, she was 39 years old and her father, with all his desire, could no longer stop her. Mom rushed between the two people closest to her, husband and daughter, but took, for the most part, the side of her husband.

Vladimir Abramovich was proud that his daughter named her son in his honor, he was happy to carry him in his arms. When it became clear that Raisa, her husband and child were cramped in a one-room apartment, at the insistence of his mother, he even bothered about the possibility of acquiring a new home for her. And he even brought in workers who were doing repairs in her new apartment. Raisa and her husband flew to her husband's homeland for a while, and upon arrival it turned out that it was simply impossible to live in the apartment: the wallpaper peeled off, the floor peeled off, and in general everything was bad.

Raisa refused to pay for such a quality, but Vladimir Etush felt like a guarantor of payment and gave the money himself. The actor took offense at the indignation and refusal of his daughter to return five thousand dollars to him and stopped communicating with her. Nina Alexandrovna was the worst in this situation: Vladimir Abramovich expressed his claims to her daughter to her.

Nina Alexandrovna died when Raisa and her son were still living in Moscow. Raisa devotedly looked after her mother, and after her departure she became a lifeline for her father. They talked for a long time, she brought food to Vladimir Abramovich and cooked, then she hired a cook for him.

A couple of months later, Vladimir Etush had a car accident with another woman, Elena. For Raisa, such a quick "consolation" of her father was a real blow. Then she categorically did not understand how he could so quickly find a replacement for his mother, with whom he lived for almost half a century.

But he really wasn't fit to live alone. He could not iron his shirts, even cooking a simple dinner was a problem for Vladimir Etush. However, his marriage to Elena, who was 43 years younger than her husband, just a year after her mother passed away, was perceived by Raisa as a betrayal.

They lived in the same city and hardly ever met. When her daughter sold an apartment in Iksha, where her parents often went on weekends, Vladimir Etush was seriously offended. For him, this place was associated with the days that he spent there with his Nina Alexandrovna.

Later, Raisa flew to America and did not communicate with her father for seven years. She did not call him or write. However, the actor himself did not try to restore relations with his daughter either. It took Raisa Vladimirovna seven long years to stop nursing her grievances and try to understand her father. The long separation helped her understand dad.

She missed him desperately and flew to Moscow with her son to find dad again. They began communication as if there was nothing between them: no quarrels, no resentment, no mutual claims. The daughter accepted her brilliant father and understood what role his wife played in the life of Vladimir Etush: Elena really extended her husband's life. And Raisa got the opportunity to come to terms with her dad and have time to say the last “forgive me” to him.

A whole era in theater and cinema is associated with his name. The roles played by Vladimir Etush were remembered for their brilliance and talented play, and the whole country knows Comrade Saakhov from the "Caucasian Captive". The actor admits that he cannot imagine his existence without a woman, and at the same time he never made pretentious marriage proposals to his wives.
