The press service of the Yekaterinburg Gallery of Contemporary Art has circulated a message stating that it has decided to hold a show exhibition where "disappearing paintings" are exhibited. The peculiarity of such works of art lies in the fact that all paintings are painted using paints that can only be seen in ultraviolet rays.
It was decided to hold such a show-exhibition before the New Year holidays. It will be held in the Yekaterinburg gallery of modern art under the name "The World of Ultraviolet". Visitors to this exhibition can see over 30 unusual paintings. On the canvas, original colors and an amazing glow are recorded, which a person simply cannot see in nature. To create such works of art, special ink is used, which is simply not visible, but appears in the ultraviolet rays. Only on some canvases in normal daylight can you see some part of the entire work invented by the artist.
Representatives of the news outlets spoke with Daria Serebryakova, who is responsible for public relations at the Yekaterinburg Gallery of Contemporary Art. She said that a hall was chosen in the gallery, which was fully equipped for the show-exhibition "The World of Ultraviolet". It will be possible to visit such an exhibition even in bright daylight, since the windows in the chosen room are carefully curtained with black fabric. Creation of complete darkness is the main condition under which it will be possible to enjoy the unusual pictures of the exhibition.
In the complete darkness of the exhibition hall, special lamps are turned on and the paintings appear in bright colors. On the canvases, visitors will be able to see famous architectural monuments and portraits of famous people. The press service of the Yekaterinburg Gallery of Contemporary Art says that the use of innovative technologies allows you to diversify art, teaches you to look at the world differently, and not from the usual point of view. Such an exhibition will certainly be interesting not only for adults, but also for children.
It will be possible to visit this show exhibition until January 13, 2019. It is worth noting that such a project has already been six months old and earlier such an exhibition has already visited other Russian cities, such as Kemerovo, Kurgan, Barnaul, Abakan and Irkutsk.
