Video: Personal exhibition of Zurab Tsereteli "This wonderful world" has opened in Kirov

The opening of a personal exhibition of Zurab Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the Russian Federation and the USSR, took place in Kirov. The venue for this personal exhibition was the Vyatka Art Museum. Victor and Apollinaria Vasnetsov. At this exhibition, called "This Wonderful World", guests can get acquainted with two sculptures of the famous master, as well as with a large number of his works of art, of which there are more than fifty in the exposition.
The opening ceremony of this exhibition was attended by Igor Vasiliev, the regional governor. He talked about the fact that they called the famous artist on the phone before this important event, and he was very pleased with his personal exhibition, that I do not forget and love him. The Governor drew attention to the fact that the works of this famous artist are in the best museums in London, New York, Moscow and Paris.
For the exhibition in Kirov, still lifes were chosen, where the artist depicted flowers, as well as compositional portraits, the creation of which Tsereteli was engaged in under the influence of meetings with such famous personalities as Robert Rauschenberg, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall. In total, more than 50 paintings by the master are presented here. There are also two sculptures. One of them is "My Favorite Artists", the second is "Pirosmani and Russo".
It was decided to dedicate this exhibition in Kirov to the 85th anniversary of Zurab Tsereteli. Such exhibitions were previously held in some cities of the Russian Federation, as well as outside the country. The exhibition will run here until October 6, and everyone will be able to get acquainted with the unique work of the famous master.
In the year that Tsereteli celebrates his 85th birthday, exhibitions of his work are held all over the world. One of the largest exhibitions at the beginning of the year was opened at the Saatchi gallery in London and was named “More than life”. In several halls of this gallery, more than a hundred of the artist's works were placed. Among them were not only paintings, but also sculptures, enamels, books with drawings that were created by the master at different stages of his life.
The Possible Dimensions exhibition, which began in May at the Heydar Aliyev Center, was completed on August 25 in Baku. This year Tsereteli decided to hold many exhibitions in Russian cities - Podolsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Togliatti and others.
