Renowned French conceptual artist Daniel Buren has presented seven works in his inimitable style on the roof of the recently renovated La Cité Radieuse (City of Shining) by architect Le Corbusier.
Through the efforts of the French designer Ito Morabito, better known as Ora-Ïto, the former rooftop gymnasium on the roof of Le Corbusier's famous Shining City has been transformed into the new Marseille Modular Center for Contemporary Art. It was this place that the shocking artist Daniel Buren chose for his exposition.
The exhibition titled Défini, Fini, Infini is seven different-sized colorful installations reminiscent of stained-glass windows, which the author presented to the general public for the first time. To create a special visual space, Buren used various combinations of mirrors, colored panels and translucent sheets. It will be possible to admire the artist's futuristic objects until September 30 of this year.
In general, working with color and glass is the master's favorite practice. So, in June this year, Buren presented in Strasbourg his new project to modernize the Strasbourg Museum of Modern Art (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art). The aim of the installation, Comme un jeu d'enfant, travaux in situ, was to "revitalize" the building with a tinted film attached to the glass façade.
Daniel Buren was born in 1938 in France. Graduated from the Paris Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Métiers d'Art. Having decided at some point to completely abandon traditional painting, Buren comes up with his own creative concept based on the image of colored stripes of equal width. Today the master is seventy-six years old, and he is still true to his idea.

Frida Kahlo is one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to women who changed the history of visual arts. The fearless surrealist has acquired an almost mythical status. At times, the amazing story of her life even overshadows the glory of her paintings, although, of course, they cannot be separated
Suspended attraction-net Linz in the center of contemporary art in Linz (Austria)
The Numen / For Use design team never ceases to delight the audience with extreme rides and non-trivial installations made of stretched ropes or extra strong scotch tape. Contemporary art from Konstantin Zolotarev. Contemporary Christian art or icon painting style
The icon painting style created for the depiction of saints and Christ is aimed at displaying a different reality. Therefore, in the icon, the portrait resemblance of a saint to a person who actually lived once is not in principle, since it reflects a transformed person who is in the upper world. But after all, the saints once lived on earth, they were like us, they ate and drank and had practically the same problems as modern man
