The Numen / For Use design team never ceases to delight the audience with extreme rides and non-trivial installations made of stretched ropes or extra strong scotch tape. This time, the spatial installation of the Net Linz collective from a fancifully intertwined mesh has become an alternative "staircase" leading to the exhibition space of the Austrian center for contemporary art.

Net Linz is not the first mesh attraction in the work of the Croatian-Austrian team. Game complex String Prototype, designed for both children and adults, at one time made a splash. Having decided to try again the skill and adventurism of their fans, the team creates a sculptural installation from a particularly durable mesh. The grid, stretched under the ceiling of the OK Center exhibition space in Linz, Austria, forms a kind of artificial labyrinth, which must be "passed" to get to the museum. The installation will be open to visitors until October 19 this year.

The team was formed in 1998, but only ten years later the designers came to what they are doing today. Before that, they devoted a lot of time to the theater: they came up with and developed the scenery for theatrical performances. Today, the team, consisting of three like-minded people, has firmly established itself in Vienna. There is also their studio and workshop.

American artists Wade Kavanaugh and Stephen B. Nguyen, as well as the Austrian collective Numen / For Use, strive to create large-scale interactive installations. One of the most interesting joint projects of the artists is the installation "Sun Valley". According to the authors, this is an attempt to reproduce a century-old forest with the trunks of mighty trees intertwined.
