If you suffer for a long time, something will work out. Perhaps this is how the method of creating "Dorodango" - polished balls from ordinary earth. It's hard to believe, but by mixing black soil with water, the Japanese make balls that are not inferior in beauty and brightness to billiard balls.
The creation of a dorodango is a long and painstaking process. Today, such an activity is increasingly seen as one of the effective ways of meditation, increasing motivation for the creative process. First, a small lump is formed, then it is rolled in the palms for a long time until it acquires the ideal ball shape. After - they dry it and apply a new layer of earth on top. And so, layer by layer, increasing the volume of the ball. It is difficult to believe that dirt can shine like that, but all this is done by human hands.
Making dorodango is an old technique. For a long time, it was taught, first of all, by children. Toddlers willingly make balls, they learn to be hardworking and diligent. For some time, dorodango was not remembered in Japan, but Professor Fumio Kayo, who specializes in children's educational games, popularized the old technique, and it immediately won the hearts of not only the inhabitants of the Land of the Rising Sun, but also parents around the world.
One of the craftsmen who professionally create dorodango is Bruce Gardner. He says that he always works on two or three balls at the same time, since while one is drying, you can polish the second. It can take several weeks to complete. Dorodango, according to Bruce, is not only a hobby, it is an art, and an effort on oneself, and meditation.
The result in this work always depends on what kind of land is used, how plastic it is, how much sand it contains. Bruce tried many types of land until he found a couple of options that really worked for him. Interestingly, nature itself completes the creative process. Bruce once put aside three balls, the work on which was completed, but which were covered with small cracks. Bruce intended to later reuse the land. After a while, he noticed that the earth in the cracks began to oxidize, changing color and forming patterns. Now these balls are among the most original in the collection.
Lately, dorodangos have become more and more popular. Not only children, but also adults are ready to work with the land. Many people perceive this technique as a form of relaxation. The Japanese are happy to share photos of balloons on social networks; this activity is becoming more and more popular at group workshops.

Anonymous "letters of happiness": Who writes them and why, what they are about and where they can be found
Stories about how people accidentally find messages from unfamiliar well-wishers always sound exciting. And if in an adventure novel such a letter usually sails by sea in a sealed bottle, then nowadays it is more prosaic - a letter can be found in a book, under the wallpaper, on a chair in a public building, or just on a closet. But a family from Brisbane (Australia) found a "message to an unknown destination" in a recently purchased trailer. True, the author of the letter introduced himself
Who and why wrote letters "far and wide", and Why did they violate the norms of etiquette
Such a letter looks like some kind of cipher, and indeed, it takes some effort to read it. But the sender did not pursue the goal of confusing the recipient of the correspondence. And you shouldn't blame him for untidiness: the reason why the letter was written crosswise is rather sympathetic, even if it is known that Jane Austen and Charles Darwin once resorted to this method, being perfectly aware of the fact that they are violating some rules of etiquette
What is point Nemo, why they could not find it for so long, and when they found it, they were scared
The most surprising fact about this conditional point in the World Ocean is probably the very fact of its existence. It was possible to calculate the ocean pole of this inaccessibility thanks to the calculations of the engineer Hvoja Lukatele from Croatia. According to them, point Nemo is closer to people in orbit than on Earth. It is Lukatele who is considered the discoverer of point Nemo
Antiheroes and Heroes in Soviet Films: What They Promoted and Why Did They Fall in Love with Them
Cinematography in the USSR was one of the most massive propaganda tools, which had to convey clearly defined ideas to the viewer. For this, characters that would be as understandable as possible were ideally suited. There was no question of any semitones, the main character was utterly positive, and negative, one must assume, was negative in everything. Does this mean that the characters turned out to be flat and "plywood", as required by the state censorship, or, nevertheless, the creative staff managed to breathe x
