Nowadays you won't surprise anyone with art made of rubbish. Whether they are really not indifferent to the state of the environment, or just taking up this fashionable initiative, authors from all over the world work with inspiration on sculptures and installations from plastic bags, old newspapers, worn-out parts, cans and other unnecessary trash. Briton Oliver Bishop-Young, apparently decided not to repeat himself and left the trash alone. But the author still did not stray far from this topic, taking as a basis for his installations … garbage containers.
Oliver Bishop Young's SkipWaste project gives old waste containers a new lease on life. Thanks to the efforts and imagination of the author, they safely turn into blooming flower beds, ping-pong tables, green lawns, cozy rooms and even mini-pools! Refurbished containers are popping up in various public places in London and no doubt grabbing the attention of passers-by. But are there many people who want to freshen up in the pool, which in its past life served as a waste tank?
By the way, Oliver admits that he finds many interesting things in garbage cans, which often give him the idea of a new work and inspire creativity. “I can find an old bench in the garbage, fix it and put it back in a container, but this time as an installation element,” says the author.
Oliver Bishop-Young is a young designer who graduated from Goldsmiths University in 2008. “I don’t change the world with my works, but they are information for thought for those who can change it,” the author says about his work.

As a rule, child actors who come to the set at school age rarely associate their fate with the acting profession in the future. So it happened with the main characters of the revolutionary-heroic "The Tale of the Boy-Kibalchish": Seryozha Ostapenko played only 2 roles in the cinema, and Seryozha Tikhonov - 3. It's amazing how their lives developed in the future: the actor who played the one who fought with the "bourgeois" Malchisha-Kibalchisha, forever went to these same "bourgeois" and built a successful career
