Usually a music festival is not only a series of concerts, but also many other events, which, at times, have nothing to do with music at all. For example, art exhibitions and installations. As a vivid illustration of this, you can cite the installation "Underground City"created by the artist EVOL for the festival Dockville festival, which takes place these days near Hamburg.
Berlin-based artist EVOL is already known to regular readers of our site for his love of miniature urbanism. Some time ago, we told you about the unusual street art created by this artist, and representing the images of panel houses, into which he turned all kinds of elements of urban decor: gas shields, tubs of street beds, poles, mailboxes and the like.
This is the theme EVOL continues in his new work - the installation "Underground City", created by him by order of the organizers of the Dockville Festival on the territory of this festival.
Installation "Underground City" is, as you might guess, an underground city. Of course, this city is not alive. This is just a stencil image of a city block, several panel high-rise buildings, drawn by the artist on wooden boards dug into the ground to a certain depth.
Moreover, people can walk between these "high-rise buildings". So the installation "Underground City" (and the glade on which it is located) was used by the organizers of the Dockville Festival as a venue for one of the parties within this large-scale musical and artistic event.

Alas, people are not yet able to stop this process
