Previously - on the bag of every student, today - on scarves, clothes and backpacks of representatives of youth subcultures. Sometimes - a dozen, sometimes - two or three, but still they are. They are the icons through which the Russian designer Egor Bashakov (also known as Egor Kraft) created his informational portrait, designing it as an art project called State of mine … An icon is a symbol with which you can express your attitude towards life in general or some aspects of it in particular. Sometimes it is a protest, a challenge, an exclamation, a cry for help, whatever. Not a single person will wear a badge on his clothes or bag that does not correspond to his views on life and one or another preference. Guided by this principle, Yegor made more than 2, 5 thousand badges, placing on each of them a symbol, logo, word or image that would somehow characterize his personality.
As a result, the designer got 2,700 round icons and more than 200 symbols-associations, of which he then laid out a huge self-portrait 135x110 cm in size on the board. By the way, the name of the project, State of Mine, is also symbolic. This phrase is a play on words, from the English State of mind, which means "state of mind." Thus, State of Mine can be translated as "the state of me", that is, the author.

Eatable art. Food art by Prudence Emma State
We have already repeatedly talked about authors who create in the mainstream of food art, that is, who have chosen food as the main material for their work.
