Japanese needlewoman Hiroko Kubota, like all mothers, tried to decorate her son's shirts in every possible way. But instead of the traditional patch with the name of the child, she … embroidered funny cats in a pocket. The result is a wonderful collection of pocket animals that were liked not only by the little son, but also by the kindergarten staff. Time passed, and Hiroko Kubota began to order embroidery, first the parents of her son's friends, then their acquaintances, until the fame of pocket cats reached the international level.
The collection was named "Dress-cat" and began to spread among adult men forced to wear strict shirts to work. Many office workers happily settled a funny animal in their pocket, despite the fact that the cost of one embroidery, depending on the complexity, ranges from $ 240 to $ 300.
Hiroko Kubota not only happily embroiders cats on other people's shirts, but also advises wives to master simple hand-embroidery techniques to please their men. Moreover, it is much easier to embroider a cat with a cross on a shirt than flowers on an eggshell. Only Elizabeth Klein can handle the latter.

How to become a billionaire with only $ 100 in your pocket: Cornelius Vanderbilt
It was this amount that his mother promised to lend to the unlucky son. True, not just like that, but for work: Cornelius had to plow and sow the most rocky plot of 8 acres on their family farm in the month that remained before his 16th birthday (this is more than 300 acres!). Legend has it that the young man succeeded, and with the money received, the future transport tycoon bought the first barge. 60 years later, sailing past his native fields on a yacht that looked like a floating palace, Vanderbilt ordered a military salute
Dunno in a hostel, an adult girl Ellie, a beard in Karabas's pocket: What explains the oddities in popular children's books
Some of the books of our childhood read very differently when viewed through the eyes of a modern parent. For example, three series of stories raise big questions: about Dunno, about Buratino and about Ellie in a fairy land. Yes, there are two different books about Pinocchio, and they have different authors, and nevertheless, one story continues the other. But this fact is not at all surprising

Art project Science Vs Delirium. Science against delusion, psychedelic prints against photographs
Undoubtedly, it is not given to everyone to engage in science - one lacks abilities, the other perseverance, the third - movement and impressions, the fourth - motivation. But no one has ever tried to draw people's attention to science in general, and scientists, in particular, as the artist Simon Bent from Australia did. A series of psychedelic posters, which he drew as part of the Science Vs Delirium art project, presents famous scientists as if they were in a dream
Office dress code with a designer touch. Office Wear Project by Ted Sabarese
Friday is a free day with jeans and sneakers, T-shirts and bright blouses, neckline and black tights, and the rest of the four days, please, long for classic tailored suits and equally classic shoes. Approximately the same fate awaits almost everyone who is lucky enough to work in modern offices with modern bosses, where they observe office style and stiffness, called strict discipline and dress code. Reminds of junior grades with a mandatory form, which, however
