Leaving on vacation or on a business trip to another city or country, people always bring souvenirs with them, which make it possible for a long time not to lose the freshness and sharpness of impressions from the trip. As a rule, small trinkets become souvenirs, evoking certain associations with a place or event. But how often we regret that there is no opportunity to take with us the most important thing: a piece of air that breathed so easily and sweetly there, on the journey! It was this slight sadness-nostalgia that became the muse for the Czech photographer Kirill Rudenko, giving him an idea for a funny art project called "Canned air" … As it turned out, preserving the air is not at all difficult. It is only important to find a suitable container and determine the proportions. So, Kirill Rudenko in ordinary paint cans "canned" the air from such cities as Berlin, New York, Paris, Singapore, Riga and his native Prague. And he gave them the appropriate labels to indicate the most unique composition of these exclusive canned goods. Moreover, the composition turned out to be such that it will not leave anyone indifferent.
So, the air of Paris is composed according to the proportion: 20% from the Louvre, 20% from Notre Dame, 25% - the air near the Eiffel Tower, 15% from the Orsay Museum, 10% from the Champs Elysees, and 10% from the Sacre Coeur Basilica (Heart of Christ). And New York air is 20% Empire State Building, 10% Central Terminal, 10% Chrysler Building, 20% Statue of Liberty, 10% Little Italy and Chinatown, 10% Brooklyn Bridge, 10% Times Square and 10% from Central Park.
It is expected that these cute funny souvenirs will help people cope with their nostalgia for their homeland, and simply entertain them, comparing favorably with other traditional souvenirs with their novelty and humor.
