Love warms, caring calms, hope inspires, and truly rich is the person who has these feelings and can give them to other people without prejudice. And how sad it is to see those people who, for certain reasons, cannot enjoy them! Italian painter Valerio Loi Once I thought that since the modern market for medical products offers a full range of drugs that should help people recover from a huge variety of diseases and their symptoms, then are we really so weak that we cannot figure out how to help those who suffer from mental anguish? This is how his art project was born called Human Feelings as Drugs … In this unusual, philosophically deep art project, the author presents a series of exclusive drugs that would restore, strengthen and return to patients forgotten or lost feelings. In the world they say that all diseases are from the nerves. Valerio Loy is sure that not only from nerves: the absence of certain positive emotions also negatively affects the health, and even the life of a person. Therefore, his virtual first-aid kit contains such "medicines" as Love and Hope, Care, Peace and Joy.
Each drug is packaged in 30 ml bottles, on the bottle there is a sticker with the name of the drug and instructions on how and when to take it. For a more visual understanding of what is in a particular bottle, the artist depicted unusual means in the appropriate color. Love, of course, is colored in a rich scarlet, the World - in a cool blue, Caring - in a healing green, Joy - in sunny yellow, and Hope - in a sweet crimson color. Color therapy is a separate topic of alternative medicine, but no less effective, as practice shows.
Of course, the Human Feelings as Drugs art project should not be taken seriously, and it only exists in Valerio Loi's photographs. But it would still be great if such drugs appeared on the market. Other photographs of the master are on his website.
