Today she is known not only as a wonderful actress, but also as the caring wife of Dmitry Pevtsov and the tender mother of their common son Elisha. At the same time, few people remember the time when no one knew Olga Drozdova yet, and she herself was married to Alexander Borovikov, an actor and champion of the Soviet Union in rowing. However, this marriage lasted only two years, and the actress does not like to remember the first family. Who was to blame for the fact that the young family broke up so quickly?
Accidental acquaintance
They first saw each other in the House of the Actor at a time when Alexander Borovikov had already graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, worked at the Pushkin Theater and became a member of the Moscow Art Theater troupe. For a long time he himself did not believe in what he was playing on stage, because before entering the theater he was actively involved in rowing, studied at the Institute of Physical Education, and managed to work as a physical education teacher and a loader. And only the words of a teammate made him think about changing the type of activity.
Borovikov entered the Actor's House after filming in Tver, where work on the film "Lawlessness" was in full swing. At the next table, just as by chance there was a basketball player with whom the actor once studied at a physical education institute. And next to him is a fragile charming girl, as it turned out, the future actress.
Olga Drozdova graduated from the Shchepkinskoye School and treated her new acquaintance quite favorably. Already at the end of the evening, it was clear that the girl sympathized with Alexander, and he did not miss his chance: he began to actively look after the beauty. He later blamed his wife for seeing him as a good launching pad. He was a Muscovite, already an accomplished actor and, as Borovikov himself claimed, had extensive connections in the world of theater and cinema.
A few days after they met, the actor was leaving for the set and Olga was seeing him off at the station: she did not get enough sleep, without a drop of makeup, with a careless hairstyle. Even then, she seemed very dear to Alexander. When he returned to the capital, the girl invariably met him on the platform. And she supported him in every possible way when the actor got into trouble. In one of the colonies where the filming took place, he acquired two knives from prisoners. Alexandra was stopped by the guards at the exit, found the Finns and accused of taking out cold steel, also acquired illegally. Then he was threatened with five years in prison, but, fortunately, nothing happened.
At Olga's graduation performance, Borovikov thought that she was not yet ready to become a real actress, but enthusiastically rushed to help the girl: he himself went to shows with her in different theaters, having learned an excerpt from Three Sisters. As a result, Galina Volchek accepted Olga Drozdova into the Sovremennik troupe.
Alexander Borovikov proposed to the girl and even introduced her to her mother, whom the future daughter-in-law frankly did not like, as if she immediately considered Olga's personality tough and mercantile. However, Borovikov would have married an actress in any case, although sometimes he says in his interviews that he almost ran away shortly before the wedding and even suggested that his bride take her time with the painting.
Short marriage
They signed on August 30, 1989, being three hours late at the registry office. Nevertheless, the wedding took place, however, it never brought happiness to anyone. Olga got married, completely confident that relations with a man must be legalized. Alexander Borovikov was confident in his feelings, but he was not particularly eager to marry. And soon after the wedding, serious problems began in the family.
When Alexander went on tour, Olga, so as not to sit on anyone's neck, traded in the market with gypsies. She was never shy about this, especially since the mother of the actress was a purebred gypsy who married a Russian sea captain. But the girl's mother-in-law was shocked to see her daughter-in-law in the company of market traders.
Later, the couple moved from the apartment where they lived with Alexander Borovikov's parents to a room in a communal apartment on Novokuznetskaya. True, the mother-in-law did not leave her son and his wife with her attention: she constantly visited them without warning, tried to control how Olga was doing the household, whether she was taking good care of her husband, whether she forgot to cook and wash the dishes.
The young actress was seriously passionate about the profession. She constantly taught the role, prepared for performances, and in general hoped to conquer the whole country with her talent, although the intervention of her mother-in-law in the family did not add enthusiasm to the young actress. But this was not the main reason for the divorce of the spouses.
Olga every day became more and more confident in herself and her strengths, and her husband believed that the wife should obey her husband and be slightly lower in status. But this was not at all about Drozdova: the actress confidently and systematically walked towards her goal, worked more and more and was proud of her own achievements. The beautiful actress was liked by men, many tried to look after her.
Alexander Borovikov was terribly jealous of his wife, over time he began to drink and even cheat on his beautiful wife. In his interpretation, they divorced at first fictitiously, ostensibly to get Olga a residence permit in a theater hostel. But the actress herself admitted in a recent interview: her husband is a wonderful person and artist, but at the same time suffers from a well-known disease. It was with her husband's addiction to alcohol that she was not ready to fight all her life due to her youth. And she adds that she was only to blame for the divorce, as she was weak. She does not say anything more about her first marriage and ex-husband.
Unlike his wife, Alexander Borovikov loves to remember his first marriage, however, the actress looks ambitious and prudent, ready to go over her head in order to achieve her own goal. Fortunately, friends and acquaintances of Olga Drozdova herself know her from a completely different side and do not believe the stories of the offended man, from whom his wife left at one time.
Now Olga Drozdova and Alexander Borovikov each live their own lives. Olga's marriage with the famous actor Dmitry Pevtsov turned out to be extremely happy. Alexander Borovikov has been married for a long time, but his second wife was not an actress, but a mathematics teacher.
They are called the most beautiful and most harmonious couple of Russian cinema. Their office romance became fate, and they divide all the glory and success in half. Dmitry Pevtsov and Olga Drozdova went through serious trials together, but managed not to break down, to keep the most important thing in their life: his family of "songbirds," as the couple call their friends.
