10 new Russian TV series to be released in 2017

2. "Consultant"

director: Alexey Rudakov / 2016This psychological thriller tells about real events that took place more than a quarter of a century ago in one of the cities of Russia. For many years there was a serial maniac who has been terrorizing the local population for several years and sparing neither adults nor children.

He was invulnerable, and completely strangers were responsible for his sins. And only when the creative tandem of the local investigator Bragin (Maxim Drozd) and the Moscow psychologist Shirokov (Kirill Kyaro) was formed, the investigation got under way, although all sorts of bureaucratic obstacles were put to this union.

3. "Mata Hari"

directors: Denis Berry, Julius Berg / 2017The biographical drama, the fruit of the creative efforts of a close-knit international team, continues a retrospective of projects commissioned by Channel One. She will tell the story of an amazing woman known throughout the world as Mata Hari. The brilliant dancer and favorite of the European elite has seen many sorrows and hardships in her lifetime.

She long and unsuccessfully tried to return her daughter from her ex-husband, who deceived her and deprived her of the joy of motherhood. For the sake of her daughter, she had to become an intelligence agent, and not alone. The First World War began, which put an end to her tragic fate.

4. "Fox's Smile"

director: Igor Draka / 2017For lovers of the classic detective story, we recommend watching this mini-series. He will tell a heartfelt story about eight biochemistry students who, many years later, remained close friends and work colleagues. They communicate with each other using familiar student nicknames.

The 10th anniversary party ends tragically. A mysterious murder of a company boss takes place. His investigation will reveal a lot of old and new secrets. The search for the killer will turn into a real charade, and each of the friends will become the main suspect.

5. "Raid"

director: Karen Hovhannisyan / 2017This is a domestic adaptation of the popular French TV series of the same name. The director managed to skillfully weave the realities of our everyday life into a plot filled with drama and brutal truth of life. This is a true story about a group of operas led by Major Kaplan (the brilliant role of Vladimir Mashkov), which is famous for its solidarity and recklessness in its decisions.

They act on the brink of a foul, often overstepping the bounds of the law, but otherwise crime cannot be defeated. They are honest with themselves and with society, but they have many ill-wishers who want to hide them behind bars and get the cherished promotion. A real battle of nerves and characters awaits the audience. Must watch!

6. "Birth certificate"

director: Elena Tsyplakova / 2017A piercing criminal melodrama that tells the story of Olga, a museum worker. Four years ago, a terrible tragedy happened in her life - her one-year-old daughter disappeared. Her husband has come to terms with this loss, and she continues to look for her and believe in a miracle. The spouses move away from each other, and then Olga meets a man with whom she falls in love and is expecting a child from him.

She will have to endure bitter losses and joys, betrayal and accusations of sins that she did not commit. But nothing can break her in this life. Help will come to her from where she did not expect. 7. "Double solid"

director: Vladimir Nakhabtsev / 2017The second season of this provocative series will touch upon a sore subject for our society - domestic violence. The story of the main character Anna will continue a year after the events of the first season. She is discharged from the hospital. 8. "Red bracelets"

director: Natalia Meshchaninova / 2017This Russian-Ukrainian project cannot go unnoticed for the shouting truth. It is an adaptation of the acclaimed Spanish show about teenage patients rallied to the Red Bracelets group. The original script belongs to the Catalan writer Albert Espinoza. What has he not experienced in life, since at the age of fourteen he was diagnosed with bone cancer.

His leg was amputated, he lost several more organs. He was destined to spend ten years in various hospitals. Doctors said he had only one chance in a thousand. And he wanted to live, he clung to every chance that appeared and won. Childhood memories of everyday life spent over a decade in the hospital, and formed the basis of the plot of the book. Agree, her television adaptation is definitely worth seeing!

9. "Dead by 99%"

director: Stepan Korshunov / 2017The life of the demanded Moscow architect Artyom goes on as usual. He makes a lot of money and gets rid of it easily. Life on a grand scale suddenly ends when he is accidentally mistaken for an arms dealer. Specialists from the FSB, Interpol, and the traders of dangerous goods themselves arrange a hunt for him.

For him comes a real force majeure, when he must survive in a metropolis without documents, money, weapons. He can only rely on himself. Watch this crime action game, which has prepared a lot of mysteries and emotional experiences for the audience.

10. "Law of the Stone Jungle-2"

director: Pavel Kostomarov / 2017The first season of this show shocked the domestic audience. And the new season about young gangsters promises a lot of interesting things. In new episodes, the emphasis will again be placed not on the criminal component of the plot, but on the experiences and emotions of the heroes. The unforeseen circumstances in which the heroes fall over and over again make it possible to get to know each of them better, "feel" their inner world, find out the details of life and discover unexpected components of character.

The stage of growing up of the heroes is not easy, and no one promised them easy ways. Are they willing to trust and forgive each other? Can friendship outweigh selfishness and greed? There are many questions to which the viewer definitely wants to get answers.
