Some absolutely incredible and not very pleasant rumors are often grouped around the name of Avdotya Smirnova. She always seemed independent of other people's opinions, showed a philosophical attitude towards life and was in no hurry to comment on her personal life. However, both of her marriages, with Arkady Ippolitov, and then with Anatoly Chubais, still became the object of close attention from the public.

Avdotya Smirnova was born in 1969 in a very creative family. Her mother, Natalya Rudnaya, is an actress who played at the Maly Theater and then at the Theater of the Soviet Army, her father Andrei Smirnov is a famous director who shot the film "Belorussky Station", and her grandfather Sergei Smirnov was a writer.

According to Avdotya herself, in her youth she was simply unbearable: selfish and ruthless. She could offend a person just like that, for the sake of a successful, as it seemed to her, joke, and not even notice it. At the same time, she easily lied, not seeing any problem in this. True, over the years, she began to feel very uncomfortable if she had to tell a lie, and now she tries not to create a bad mood for herself with her own lies.

In addition, she was unhappy with her own appearance and suffered from complexes. However, Avdotya could be understood: her mother Natalya Rudnaya was a real beauty, and in comparison with her, her daughter was clearly losing.

And she also dreamed of entering the screenwriting department of VGIK, but her father was against her daughter connecting her life with cinema. Avdotya Smirnova did not resist, she entered the philological faculty of Moscow State University, from there she transferred to the theater department at GITIS, but she never finished it.

A few years after the breakup, Arkady Ippolitov and Avdotya Smirnova suddenly realized that they were again interested in each other. They didn't even talk about restoring their marriage, but they were able to become very good friends. And she added: two adults can coexist in the same territory only if there is great love between them.

After all, a person can be completely self-sufficient and find happiness not only with a spouse. She herself has repeatedly emphasized in her interviews: she is no longer going to marry, the experience that she already had is enough for her. Avdotya Smirnova believed that you should get married only if there is a person for whom you are ready to compromise. Avdotya Smirnova had known Anatoly Chubais since the late 1990s, but their relationship could be called exclusively business. However, mutual respect soon led to the emergence of friendly, and then romantic feelings.

It's just that one day they ended up in the same company and Anatoly Chubais unexpectedly made a very extraordinary impression on the TV presenter. It turned out that a high-ranking official is a kind, open and even shy person. He also had an absolutely phenomenal sense of duty.

In January 2012, it became known that Anatoly Chubais and Avdotya Smirnova became husband and wife. They did not arrange any magnificent festivities, they just signed and celebrated the event together. The presenter, director and screenwriter had to rebuild their lives in accordance with the new marital status. But it seems that this was exactly the case when she agreed to compromises.

She openly calls her marriage a miracle, because not every woman is so lucky. Avdotya Smirnova met in the person of Anatoly Chubais a real man who does not know how to shift his responsibility to others, is not jealous of her herself for success and popularity, and also supports any of her projects and undertakings. And the point here is not at all about material support, but about the existence of that mutual understanding, when two people sometimes do not even need to speak in order to understand each other.

After marriage, Avdotya Andreevna returned from St. Petersburg to Moscow, although she loves the Northern capital very much and there she has friends and a son, with whom now she does not have to meet so often. Now she doesn’t stay up late with colleagues and friends, and has rearranged her schedule to match her husband’s.

And at the same time Avdotya Smirnova does not feel like a victim. Probably, it is really a miracle when two adults find each other and are ready for anything so as not to lose.

Anatoly Chubais turned out to be one of those men who appreciate beautiful women, but much more he likes smart women who are able to maintain a conversation and, if necessary, give advice. Fortunately, lately next to famous men is not the first beauty, but an intellectually gifted and educated woman.
