A professional photo shoot is much more than the "model + photographer" formula. Fashion photographer Miss Aniela (Miss Aniela) recently traveled to Iceland with her team for magical footage in an ice cave. While battling dire weather conditions, she shot sophisticated footage of girls in airy dresses. It's an incredible contrast between what happens on set and what viewers see in the photos as a result.
“Our photo shoot began in April 2014 when we first arrived in Iceland. Black sands, waterfalls, green valleys are beautiful landscapes that one can only dream of. postponed until November. We didn't know what we were going to face then."
"The weather in November was so terrible that it was simply not possible to get to the cave we were counting on. Then the local guides offered us another place. On the way to this cave, our car got stuck in a terrible off-road. Then we were handed helmets and we began to make our way over the glacier, slippery as glass. To get to the ice tunnel, we literally crawled on all fours."
“The idea was to photograph graceful models in airy dresses against a background of ice, gently illuminated by LED lights. From the artist's point of view, the place for this was really perfect. However, the cold was simply unbearable. It was necessary to minimize the posing of all four models, and experiment the light with frozen hands was also difficult. Model Carmen Obid, who was captured in the final photo, posed in this light dress for at least 10 minutes. From her graceful movements it was impossible to guess the unbearable cold and icy wind, which shook the film crew, wrapped in from top to bottom in down jackets."
“Shooting model Grace Gray in a green dress on an icy plateau, we had to save faces and cameras from freezing rain. Looking at Grace with bare shoulders, we tried to keep up with filming with a minimum of time. his car, where hot chocolate was waiting for us. gorgeous textures of Iceland - it was worth it."
