Frivolous marriage
In the eighth grade, Leonid Yakubovich fled with a friend to Siberia, where they together tested mosquito ointments and sprays on themselves. True, after that I had to say goodbye to studying in an ordinary school, and Yakubovich subsequently finished the evening one, and during the day he worked as a turner at a factory.
Having received a certificate of maturity, the future showman went through a competition to two theater institutes at once, but as a result, at the request of his father-engineer, he became a student at the Institute of Electronic Engineering. As Leonid Arkadyevich recalled, dad never asked him for anything, and at that time, having learned that his son was going to become an artist, he persuaded him to get a "serious profession" first.
At MIEM, Leonid Yakubovich played in the student theater of miniatures, and at the end of his second year he moved to MISS. Not because at that time he decided to change his profession, but only for the reason that KVN appeared at MISS. However, he liked studying at the Faculty of Heat Supply and Ventilation, at that time there were amazing teachers and an absolutely amazing dean.
Then Yakubovich first married. Raisa was the most ordinary girl, but Leonid turned out to be not at all ready for family life, did not understand that a family is a lot of work, and you have to get used to another person and get used to it. At that time, KVN was in the first place for him, and therefore this marriage did not last long and did not leave a deep mark in his soul.
Twenty years as one day
Leonid Yakubovich also met his second wife Galina Antonova at the institute. She was a soloist of the institute ensemble "Citizens", which always accompanied the performances of the KVN team and went on tour with her.
Yakubovich knew how to impress the girl he liked. That there is only one gesture when he took Galina to dinner in Tbilisi. Then Yakubovich and other KVN players received a fee for the written script and decided to skip it all. After lunch in the capital of Georgia, the beauty's heart melted completely.
Soon, the lovers went to the registry office, however, their wedding turned out to be very original. The newlyweds gathered 12 close friends and laid a table for them. And the first toast was made by Yakubovich, who thanked the friends for coming to share the joy of an important event. And then he told them to drink to the health of the young, have a tasty snack, and the bride and groom immediately flew to their friends in Tbilisi, where they spent their honeymoon.
Soon the son Artyom was born. It was a pretty difficult time. Only my husband worked, he received about 100 rubles a month, he helped out about the same amount by driving, and even at night he wrote scripts for the TV programs "Come on, guys!" and "Come on, girls!"
After Leonid Yakubovich became the host of the "Field of Miracles", the life of the spouses changed. But, along with fame, success and improved well-being, something changed in the life of the leader. Even today he speaks very restrainedly about his divorce from Galina, explaining: it was a completely everyday situation. At some point, they realized that they were uncomfortable coexisting in the same apartment and decided to leave.
Yakubovich left, leaving everything to his wife and son, he himself lived with friends for six months, until the VID TV company acquired an apartment for him. And then Marina Vidova appeared in his life.
Ideal family and fiery passion
They had known each other for a long time, because at that time all the employees of the VID TV company were sitting in the same office. Marina worked in the advertising department and constantly sat with her back to Yakubovich. As the presenter admits, he watched for a long time as she bends over some papers every day, and then he could not resist and got married.
Once during the "Fields of Miracles" cruise, all the employees of the "VID" company were in Kiev. At the same time, they flew from Moscow during the Soviet era, and during their tour the country collapsed, and they just got stuck in the capital of Ukraine, unable to return. Then Yakubovich himself found the plane, agreed with the crew, was able to find fuel and, having loaded the entire group on board, was able to deliver his colleagues home. As the presenter recalls, his act made such an impression on Marina that she immediately agreed to become his wife.
Marina became the real main prize in the fate of Leonid Yakubovich. She is a wonderful housewife, caring mother and loving wife, ready for any deeds for the sake of her family. In 1996, the couple had a daughter, Varya. All this time, the presenter did not stop communicating with his son Artyom, who could always turn to his father. Leonid Yakubovich always speaks about his Marina with great respect and undisguised tenderness.
But, in addition to the family, Leonid Yakubovich has another, but fiery passion - airplanes. This hobby began with the fact that he drove to the airfield together with Yuri Nikolaev, who was passing the piloting exam that day. While a colleague was busy, Leonid Yakubovich decided to go up into the sky, of course, together with an instructor. It was love from the first flight. Already in 2001, Leonid Arkadyevich received a pilot's diploma, graduating from the Kaluga Aviation School, and since then has not parted with the sky.
Passion for the sky, according to the host himself, is akin to drug addiction. And even in the rider of Yakubovich, the only condition is spelled out: he asks the organizers to find out about the location of the nearest flying club and the opportunity to fly. He is not interested in fancy hotel rooms, special menus, or special amenities. But while still in Moscow, he plans a flight and tries to climb into the sky before the rehearsal begins. Only after the flight does he feel rejuvenated and able to move mountains.
