The filmography of Evgeny Vesnik has more than a hundred works, including television performances. He also did voice acting, wrote books. The actor was loved by the audience and idolized by women, he had a truly multimillion army of fans. And only the actor's eldest son, his namesake Evgeny Vesnik, even many years after his father left, cannot hold back tears, listening to his monologue in front of the screen heir in the film "Once I Lied".

Childish sorrows

Evgeny Vesnik and Nika Demidova met at the Theater of Satire, where yesterday's graduate of the theatrical institute, who received a diploma of a make-up artist, got on distribution. Evgeny Vesnik immediately drew attention to the new make-up artist and began to actively flirt with her. His least concern seemed to be the fact that Nika was married. However, he himself was not free either, the actor at that time was living in a civil marriage with the actress of the theater "Romen" Lyalya Chernoy.

And yet, soon Evgeny Vesnik and Nika Demidova broke off their past relationship and went to the registry office, holding hands. As is often the case, they believed in the inviolability of their feelings. When his son Eugene was born, the actor was filming in Odessa. To celebrate, the actor bought up half of the assortment of a small liquor store and celebrated such a joyful event for a long time. At first, he treated his first child with great trepidation, even wrote down all the baby's achievements in his diary.

Everything changed after Evgeny Vesnik and Nika Demidov broke up. The initiator was a mother who fell in love with a hockey player whom she met on the beach in Foros. The divorce of the parents of four-year-old Eugene was quite difficult. Although the actor himself was not a model of loyalty, his wife's hobby upset him to the core. Then Yevgeny Yakovlevich found the right words to explain to his son: even after the separation of his parents, he will always have both mom and dad. At first, it was so: the father often visited his son, took him on weekends, but over time, such meetings took place less and less.

Guilty without guilt

When the boy began to grow up, his communication with his father developed thanks to his grandmother Evgenia Emmanuilovna, who often invited her grandson to her. But then the actor himself did not show much zeal for spending time with his son, he could play, at the insistence of his mother, a game of dominoes or, indifferently inquiring about business, shove Zhenya a few rubles "for ice cream." Zhenya seemed to understand that dad was projecting a grudge against his ex-wife at him, but he himself was not to blame for anything!

When Zhenya was already 12 years old, Yevgenia Emmanuilovna already had difficulty walking after two fractures of the femoral neck, but remained in her right mind. Eugene forever remembered his childhood resentment for his grandmother, when he learned that his father had assigned her to full maintenance in a boarding house. Evgeny Vesnik Jr. later spoke about this in an interview with one of the publications.

Evgeny Yakovlevich extremely rarely congratulated his son on the phone, and even more so did not honor him with a personal visit. More often, Eugene Jr. received congratulations by mail with mean phrases and the attached translation for 25 rubles. But he took offense at his son's inattention to himself, like a child, although he repeatedly emphasized: he generally has no right to make comments to him, because, in fact, he was not involved in upbringing.

Evgeny Yakovlevich was of the opinion that children should achieve everything on their own. Therefore, he never asked for either Zhenya or his youngest son Anton, who was born in his third marriage. Eugene, in principle, agreed with his father. He himself entered the Faculty of Economics at Moscow State University, and his mother asked his father to make sure that he was not drafted into the army. Evgeny Yakovlevich agreed to serve in Moscow, and not in the Far East, however, Nik Demidov did not like this situation, and she had to solve this issue on her own.

After graduating from university, Eugene turned to his father for help. By that time he was already married and could not find a job for eight months. Yevgeny Yakovlevich could ask that his son be taken to the Prozhektor plant in the planning and economic department, where the artist himself was listed as a member of the communist labor brigade (there was such a practice in Soviet times). But the father said that he did not know how to ask and that everyone had to do everything himself. Eugene never turned to his father for help again.

Ironically, the life of Evgeny Vesnik Jr. turned out to be connected with cinema. At first he got a job as an administrator, and five years later he became the director of the film crew at the Gorky Film Studio, graduated from the State Film Agency courses. He also worked on the set of the last film in which his father played - "White Dance".

But the relationship with his father did not work out. He did not even come to the wedding of his son, explaining that the heir did not introduce him to his future wife in advance. True, later he invited his son and his wife to a restaurant, but for the company he took a friend-artist with him, and as a result, Yevgeny Yakovlevich talked with him all evening. The actor was not eager to communicate with his own grandchildren, justifying himself by the fact that he was a bad grandfather and did not know what to talk about with children.

By the way, Evgeny Vesnik Jr. lives with one woman all his life, they raised three children and enjoy communicating with their grandchildren. And yet, the not very successful experience of communicating with his father played a role in the life of the actor's son. He was desperately afraid to give his children less than he could, did not want to lose touch with him, on the contrary, dreamed of being a friend and support to each of them. It seems he got his way.

Failed conversation

When Yevgeny Vesnik got married for the fourth time, his communication with children completely disappeared. The chosen one of the actor Susanna (Nonna) Kameneva did not particularly welcome the heirs of her husband. There was even a case when she simply took the bouquet from Eugene, who had come to congratulate his father on his birthday, but she did not let him into the apartment, saying that there were already too many people at the table. Later Nonna Gavrilovna would say at all that Yevgeny Vesnik considered his family with her "the first and only". And daughter Marina became dear to him, unlike both sons.

Evgeny Evgenievich does not deny the fact that his view of his father can be subjective and based on childish dislike. But the second son of Evgeny Vesnik Anton, in communication with his older brother, suggested that the artists, probably, do not know how to love at all.

Eugene, during his father's life, always tried to fulfill his requests. When Yevgeny Yakovlevich asked him to help publish the very first book, it was his son who introduced him to his friend, the wife of the editor-in-chief of one of the major publishing houses. He supported his father in the difficult nineties, offered a job of dubbing books, for which they paid very decently. The father, in his book, in the chapter dealing with the family, wrote only about his beloved Nonna and her daughter Marina, and his sons were honored with a modest mention in the chapter on Japan.

And he could easily let his son down, as happened at the time of the recording of the video "The History of the City of Foolov" by Saltykov-Shchedrin, where Evgeny Vesnik played all the roles in the costumes of the characters at once. He simply refused to finish the job, claiming that he didn't like it. And this when there was only one shooting day left until the end of the project, but the recording had to tie all the parts together.

After that, they hardly saw each other. Evgeny Yakovlevich, realizing that his son was offended, suggested that he completely change his last name. The last time they met was at the hospital, where Evgeny Evgenievich came to visit his father. But the conversation that began on the right note was never completed. The father's wife came and there was no desire to be frank with her. By the way, she did not inform her husband's children about the death of Yevgeny Vesnik, they learned about it from strangers.

Who knows, if that conversation did take place, maybe Evgeny Evgenievich did not take his father's monologue so close to his heart, which he pronounces in the film "Having Lied Once" in front of his screen son.

Before meeting Nika Demidova, Evgeny Vesnik lived for five years in a civil marriage with Lyalya Chernoy, star of the Romen Theater, a woman-champagne, as her acquaintances called her.
