Graffiti does not have to be scribbled on fences and walls. They may well be high art. And the higher they are drawn, the higher the art. An example of this is the Graffiti Art Tower project in Berlin.
Built in the 1970s in Berlin, the tower-shaped restaurant was already very outdated by the beginning of the twenty-first century. The gray, uninteresting building had to be urgently either demolished or somehow reconstructed. And then they decided to give this tower to the creativity of masters in the genre of graffiti. And, I must say, they fully justified the hopes placed on them.
From April 1 to May 15 this year, a group of four graffiti artists painted about two thousand square meters of the surface of this tower. So this is a pop art tower.
And this is good. Indeed, after the reconstruction, the Graffiti Art Tower will no longer house a beer restaurant, but a modern art center. And, given where he is, all the art exhibited in him automatically becomes "high."
