What makes this story unusual is that Anna wore her wedding ring for a year and a half and did not even know about it. Terry made a pendant for his beloved, carving it with his own hands from a rare tree - the Huon pine, which grows in Tasmania - and presented this pendant to Anna on their anniversary. “She liked it so much that since then she began to wear it every day,” says Terry.

Then, after a year and a half, the couple went to Scotland. They talked a lot about this trip and for a very long time wanted to go there together, for them this trip was very significant. And it was there, in Scotland, that Terry decided to reveal the secret of his gift. Near the cave, Smu Cave Terry knelt down in front of his girlfriend and asked for her pendant. The guy deftly opened the pendant, inside of which was a wedding ring. Terry put the ring on Anna's finger and asked her to marry him.

In fact, neither the place nor the way of offering the hand and heart was accidental - Terry thought everything out in advance. “I chose the Smu Cave cave because we talked about this place when we first met. The word“smu”itself translates to“hidden place,”so I decided to play it,” the guy says. "Before entering the cave, I asked Anna for a pendant to take a couple of photos with him against the background of the rock. So I got the opportunity to open the pendant with a knife."

For Anna, of course, it was a surprise. And the proposal itself, and the fact that she wore the ring for a year and a half, without even knowing it. "Fool, I could have lost him!" said, laughing, then Anna. Of course, the girl agreed to become Terry's wife. "But now, no matter what I give her, she carefully examines everything, and suddenly there is something hidden inside," he says.
