Wearing a wedding dress is a dream of almost every girl. Feel like a queen, admire your reflection in the mirror, drown in the clouds of snow-white lace … Chinese woman Q Mei Chen recently shared photo session in a wedding dress … The pictures are beautiful, but there is no groom, no guests and relatives on them. And there is a good reason for that …
Q May Chen, like many, dreamed of a wedding in her youth, however, by her thirtieth birthday, the joyful event never happened. That is why Chen decided to arrange a holiday for herself: the girl picked up a luxurious dress, did a festive make-up and hairdo, in a word, she looked like a real bride during a photo shoot. The event was timed to coincide with the anniversary, the photographs became a kind of keepsake. Then she decided to spend the rest of her life the way she wants.
In the photos, Chen smiles and radiates happiness. She is confident that "you don't have to wait for someone to complement you." This is her credo, and that is why she decided to do such a shoot alone. A childhood dream came true, and it brought her great pleasure. Talking to reporters, Chen remembered that as a child she was a great fashionista, loved to try on outfits and always made a wish that one day she would wear a wedding dress. When she found out that the disease, seemingly defeated two years ago, had returned, Chen decided that she would certainly implement her plan.
To prolong the "wedding" mood, Chen hopes to go on a honeymoon to the island of Bali. There she wants to spend time with her mother, the dearest person on earth to her. “I didn’t know what the fourth stage of oncology would be like in my life, but I’m doing everything in my power not to miss the time left for me and my family.”
Chen's photographs look very gentle and reverent. Interestingly, the Internet has previously discussed another unusual act: a guy who supposedly has cancer took a plastic doll as his wife and arranged a wedding photo session about this. The result was specific …
