In fact, Olga Melikhova decided to change her profession under pressure from her first husband, Yuri Sotnichuk. And Olga agreed with the arguments of her husband. But after only six months after the dismissal of the actress, the husband left her for another woman.
Olga Melikhova was left without work and without money. Thanks to the advice of friends, the former actress got a job at a furniture company. Here Olga Wilhelmovna's organizational skills were very quickly manifested, and she took up the post of manager, having by that time graduated from the philological faculty of St. Petersburg University.
In her life, everything was quite successful, but she always remembered her first profession with nostalgia. At the same time, Olga Melikhova believed that she had no way back, she had already left the acting circle, and therefore it was not worth hoping for a return.
In a foreign country
Perhaps she could try, but a new love appeared in her life. The man who later became her husband was categorically against her again acting in films or going on the stage. He was a Spaniard, but at the same time he was able to convince Olga Melikhova to move to Finland, as the country most suitable, in his opinion, for life.
She again went after her love, moved with her husband to Finland, not even thinking that she could be betrayed again. At first, everything in the new place was quite successful, but soon Olga Melikhova's husband met another woman and left his wife. After the divorce, a real black streak came in the life of the actress.
She had to fight constantly. Now both Olga and her mother had to leave Finland. At that moment, the former actress had a very hard time. In defense of the star of the film "Vacation at my own expense," her employer spoke out. But while the proceedings were going on, which lasted for almost three years, she had no right to work and had to count literally every cent.
Later, when Olga Melikhova herself waited for a positive decision on her issue, she began to defend the right of her mother, who lives with her, to be in the country. She did not even consider returning to her homeland. In Finland, she already had a well-established life, friends and even a new love.
Life goes on
Olga Wilhelmovna met her third husband, Ray, immediately after moving to Finland. He lived next door and at first just talked with the former Soviet actress and her Spanish husband. Of course, he drew attention to the economy of the actress, her kind disposition and purposefulness. But he began to look after her only after she separated from her husband. Now Ray is not shy about confessing his love to the actress and worrying about her.
The actress herself, having twice experienced the betrayal of the men she loved, is very restrained in her assessments. Now she does not exclude the possibility that a loved one can disappear from her life at any moment, and therefore relies only on herself.
During her forced unemployment, Olga Vilgelmovna mastered a new kind of creativity for herself. In Finland, she found a woman professionally engaged in icon painting and began to study her skills. Having received the blessing from the priest, she began to paint icons, enjoying the process itself. Many friends noted the professionalism and special soulfulness of the work of the former actress. Perhaps someday the work of Olga Melikhova will bring her additional income.
Now she goes to work, but prefers not to dwell on her occupation. Olga Melikhova lives in a small village in Finland, preferring to lead a very closed life. She loves walks in the forest, where she picks mushrooms and berries, takes care of her dogs. And she regrets that she once did not dare to have a child.
