The film with the participation of Vladimir and Yuri Torsuev was released in 1980, and the boys, similar to each other, like two drops of water, immediately became famous. After such a successful debut, it seemed that all the doors were open for the Torsuev brothers, but they failed to repeat their success in the cinema, and life kept throwing surprises on Yuri and Vladimir, and they were not always pleasant.

Life after glory

After the premiere of the film "The Adventures of Electronics", the Torsuev brothers became perhaps the most famous teenagers throughout the country. At first, Yuri and Vladimir enjoyed the glory that befell them, but later, by their own admission, life turned into a real hell.

Fans were waiting for them everywhere, the home phone did not stop for a minute, the walls in the entrance where the screen Elektronik and Syroezhkin lived were painted with declarations of love, and the girls rushed to the young actors right on the street and did not let go for a long time. They were constantly throwing something at the windows, and the most innocent in this situation were letters, the bags with which filled the entire apartment.

At school, the brothers also had a difficult time: the teachers were not condescending to Yuri and Vladimir, so they had to catch up with their classmates, studying at night. Some peers of the Torsuev brothers were jealous and even intended to beat them up so that they would not be arrogant. There was even a case when a large group of teenagers tried to check if Electronic was really as strong as it was shown in the movies. Fortunately, the matter did not come to a serious fight.

Later, Yuri and Vladimir received invitations to shoot in films, but more often they were called one at a time. Then the teenagers decided: if they will be removed, then only together. Three years later, they appeared in a small role as Wizards in the film Dunno from Our Yard, but this work was incommensurate with The Adventures of Electronics, as well as several other films in which the brothers starred.

Fire, water and copper pipes

After leaving school, the brothers, on the advice of their father, entered the printing institute, where they studied for only a year. This time was enough for them to understand: it is boring for them to study, and they do not want to do something they do not like in the future.

Yuri and Vladimir went to military service, both received the profession of a driver. Then both worked at the bakery, then at the ambulance as drivers. Subsequently, they decided that they definitely need to get a higher education, and entered the Moscow State University. Yuri chose the Faculty of Asia and Africa, and Vladimir studied philosophy. Unfortunately, they never got their diplomas. A year later, they took an academic leave for a year, but they never returned to the university.

The dashing 1990s were in the yard and the Torsuev brothers needed to somehow provide for themselves. They tried their hand at trade, opened their own store, where they accepted only twins, gave it the name "Twins and Company." They worked very hard, sometimes there was not enough time even for sleep. The business was successful, the Torsuev brothers opened several more stores, a club, and a car dealership. But along with the big money came big problems.

Yuri even had to flee abroad, where he lived for a year, Vladimir at that time worked as a taxi driver, later got a job at Norilsk Nickel, built a good career there. Yuri, returning to Moscow, started tuning cars.

But they both still wanted to act in films and no longer set conditions for participation in projects exclusively together. Yuri and Vladimir Torsuevs opened their own agency "Corporate", began to travel around Russia on tours, give concerts, they even had their own group "Garage Syroezhkina". And today, when they have already turned 54, they continue to wait for proposals from directors.

In 2020, they received a blessing from the patriarch for the construction of a male monastery in Siberia, 40 kilometers from Kemerovo.

The personal life of each of the brothers develops according to their own scenario. Yuri first married very early and lived with his first wife Irina for more than ten years. He met his second wife, Natasha, in a store where he went to buy water. By a lucky coincidence, she got up behind the counter that day to replace her friend who had departed. Yuri almost at first sight fell in love with a girl who turned out to be a student, mastering the wisdom of the profession of a designer.

Soon they signed, in 2002, the couple had a son, Nikita, and later, a daughter, Nastya. For almost 20 years, Yuri Torsuev has been happily married.

Vladimir married a girl for the first time, the memories of which still make him shudder. Allegedly, she turned out to be a real witch, everything in their house was hung with some incomprehensible signs, and she almost sent Vladimir himself to the next world with her witchcraft. But after the first wife there was the second, third and fourth. But each time the barges ended in divorce. In July 2020, Vladimir Torsuev married for the fifth time to a woman named Lilia. He sincerely believes that this time he has found his true happiness.

The Torsuev brothers believe: they have a happy life. They were born in a good family, became famous thanks to filming in films, made many friends and tried themselves in various fields.

The only thing they want is to do more films. And they are waiting for calls from directors with a good offer.

In cinema, many actors, after successful roles, disappear from the screens as quickly as they appeared. Not everyone can continue to compete with other stars, or, having matured a little, they do not want to associate their life with cinema. Child actors in this case, like the Torsuev brothers, are not at all an exception.
