Ivan Pereverzev was not only a brilliant actor, but also an incorrigible womanizer and heartthrob. Women wrote him sensual letters and even threatened to commit suicide in the absence of an answer from him. Only at the age of 53 did he meet the one with whom he was able to build a real family. But fate released Ivan Pereverzev and Olga Solovyova only 11 years of happiness.
From peasants to artists
Ivan Pereverzev was born and raised in the most ordinary peasant family, dreamed of joining a sailor, but became a fitter at the Sharikopodshipnik plant.
A friend of Ivan Romka dreamed of becoming an artist and convinced his friend that, with his height and appearance, he needed to play in the movies, and not stand at the machine. Pereverzev was admitted to the school at the Moscow Theater of the Revolution, but no talent was found in Romka.
Ivan Pereverzev as a student turned out to be very capable and after graduating from college he was immediately recruited to the Theater of the Revolution, after he moved to the Theater of the Mossovet, and since 1945 he began to work in the theater-studio of the film actor. Since 1933, the actor began acting in films.
When the war began, Ivan Pereverzev was in Odessa filming "Sea Hawk". Odessa was already shaken by the explosions, and the artists demanded that they be immediately sent to active military units, they wanted to beat the enemy. But the film's consultant, Rear Admiral Gavriil Zhukov, who led the defense of Odessa, severely reprimanded the actors. After all, with their films, they could bring much more benefit to victory than weapons that they do not know how to use.
"First glove" and first love
In 1946, the film The First Glove was released with Ivan Pereverzev in the title role. He played boxer Nikita Krutikov. A man who had never been interested in boxing began to spend several rounds a day in the ring in order to reliably convey not only the image of his hero, but also to show the technique of the game.
On the set, the actor met Nadya Cherednichenko, a 19-year-old student at VGIK. She did not immediately accept Pereverzev's courtship, but it was almost impossible to resist Pereverzev's charm, and pretty soon the lovers played a modest wedding, and a son was soon born. But the marriage was not destined to last long: Olga left her spouse and went with her son to the operator Peter Todorovsky.
True, after a few years, the former spouses tried to glue their love boat. The remarriage lasted only a year and a half.
After Ivan Pereverzev will survive another divorce and many novels (including with actress Alla Larionova). Acquaintances of the actor claimed that he needed not light intrigues, from which he was already infinitely tired, but real feelings and a strong family. He did not differ in angelic behavior, he loved to drink, but very soon his life changed dramatically.
Later happiness
Ivan Pereverzev met his happiness in 1967. On the motor ship "Crimea", which made voyages between Odessa and Batumi, the film "Angel's Day" was filmed, in which Ivan Pereverzev played the captain. Olga Solovyova at that time worked at the Odessa Film Studio as an assistant director for actors.
She was only 26 years old, he was almost 53. The girl treated the actor with the greatest respect, and he immediately saw her as a future wife. During the first meeting, he presented her with a bottle of perfume "Perhaps", in the dining room he took a place for Olenka next to him.
All three months, while the shooting lasted, they constantly talked. Olga even confided in him her romantic secrets. Ivan Fedorovich watched her all the time. Even when she met her boyfriend, the sea captain, at the pier.
After the end of filming, Pereverzev did not leave for Moscow, he again came to the film studio. Soon he invited Olga to become his wife. The girl did not take his words seriously and was completely at a loss when he asked her to give an answer.
She deeply respected him as an actor, as a person. But I didn't feel any feelings for him. The girl herself could not answer the question of why she agreed. However, Ivan Fedorovich did everything to make Olga fall in love with him and be happy with him.
Before that, he often told friends: all his love affairs and even families are the result of weakness in front of female pressure. He did not conquer women, but they conquered him. With Olga everything was different. He touchingly courted her, cooked his signature borscht and, it seems, was absolutely happy.
Ivan Fedorovich and Olga had a son. The happiest time was when they put Fedenka to bed, sat down in the kitchen and had long, long conversations. It seems that life was not enough for them to talk too much.
He quit drinking, began to take good care of his health and dreamed of seeing his son come of age. He told his wife: "How I would like to live with you for another 20 years …"
Ivan Pereverzev died at the age of 63. For a long time Olga could not come to terms with the pain of loss, she devoted her whole life to her son and allowed herself to get married when she already had grandchildren.
