The age-old problem of Russia - poor-quality roads - actually knows no borders and exists not only in our homeland. Residents of the Lithuanian city of Kaunas have created a series of funny photos to draw the attention of their government to this problem.
Creative group called Z999 invited two professional photographers Asturasa Artiusenka and Euriku Balsiute (Arturas Artiusenka, Eurika Balciute), and together they created a series of photographs, the absurdity of the plot of which makes the audience laugh. In the pictures, the locals use puddles instead of pools, ponds and baths. The aim of the project was to draw the attention of the public and the government to the poor condition of the roads in order to get the problem off the ground.
Poor quality of asphalt, or even its complete absence, is a problem not only in Kaunas, but also in other cities and small settlements in Lithuania. Therefore, this project instantly gained popularity and appeared on the pages of numerous Lithuanian magazines. As recognized Z999, they did not set themselves the goal of offending the government, but felt that in such a funny way they would be able to "reach out" and talk about pressing problems that really worry the townspeople. And, of course, they hope that the quality of the roads will improve significantly next year.
Creative people often try to draw public attention to the existing problems of urban life. Thus, an American artist devoted two years of his life creating portraits of four-leggedwho ended up in shelters and doomed to die.

Because of what every third train driver died on one railway route: "Victory Road"
After a partial break of the blockade in January 1943, a long-awaited chance appeared to establish transport links with the city. In order to provide the population of Leningrad with food and organize the transfer of troops to strengthen the Leningrad Front, the construction of a temporary railway line began. Later, this path went down in history as the "Victory Road", but those who erected the branch under the incessant fire of the enemy called it at that time "the corridor of death"
Photo quality embroidery. Realistic portraits embroidered by Daniel Kornrumpf
Everyone knows that men are the best chefs, talented hairdressers, and successful fashion designers, since no one feels women like that and does not want to please them like they do.
