Everyone knows that men are the best chefs, and talented hairdressers, and successful fashion designers, since no one feels women like that and does not want to please them like they do. Therefore, it is not surprising that it was a man who became the author of the most real, in the sense of realistically embroidered, photographs, - an artist Daniel Kornrumpf … And what's wrong with that, because embroidery has long ceased to be an exclusively female hobby, and to captivate only pensioners and exemplary schoolgirls. Yes, a serious man Daniel voluntarily, or rather, observing how deftly his mother handles the embroidery frame, with feeling, plainly and with arrangement, began to comprehend this tricky art. And in the end he reached such heights that he had never dreamed of before. Without brushes and paints, pencils and a camera, he is able to transfer a portrait of a person or an animal onto the fabric, and this will be truly photographic quality embroidery.
Not so long ago, embroidery artist Daniel Kornampf hosted an exhibition of realistic portraits created with a needle and multi-colored thread. Yes, close up the "photographs" look rough, but we get the same effect when examining oil paintings - convex, deliberately careless strokes, mixed colors … At arm's length it all looks a little sloppy, but it is worth moving away to a respectful distance - and the picture will regain its attractiveness and elegance.
However, in addition to realistic embroidered portraits, Daniel draws wonderfully with pencils and paints. These and other works of the maestro can be seen on his website.

Hair Embroidery. Hair embroidery of Zaira Pulido (Zaira Pulido)
So, the finest hour has come for those girls who did not shy away from needlework lessons at school and listened carefully to their mother or grandmother, who taught knitting and embroidery to "their clever girl."
