Growing up and theatrical career

The future actress was born on 1960-04-10 and spent all her childhood in the city on the Volga, which at that time bore the name of Stalingrad (Volgograd). In the postwar years, special attention was paid to the sports education of young people, and Larisa was no exception. Rhythmic gymnastics became her preference. The girl was diligent and persistent, thanks to which she achieved excellent success and even thought of pursuing a career in sports.

However, as a teenager, Larisa became seriously interested in dancing and after graduating from school left for Leningrad to study at a choreography studio, which had recently opened at the Music Hall. And again, natural diligence and excellent external data served a faithful service - a talented graduate was hired to work at the Leningrad Music Hall, where after a short time she became one of the soloists. At this time, the theater begins to actively tour abroad, the young dancer gets an unforgettable experience. She manages to touch the legs of the famous theater in Berlin - "Friedrichstadtpalast" - one of the leading theaters in Europe.

The girl looked equally well and organically both on stage and in the frame. She began to receive offers to pursue a film career. For acting education, Belogurova went to GITIS. To her surprise, the entrance exams were given to her with ease, however, and as further studies. And in 1985 the student becomes a qualified specialist. However, Larisa did not stop there. After 8 years, she also received a second director's diploma, for which she was grateful all her life to her teacher Anatoly Vasiliev. The talented and thoughtful ward immediately stood out, becoming the favorite of the mentor.

The actress was invited to the Mossovet Theater, where she participated in the work on the play "Infants". And also from 1987 to 1996 she served in the theater "School of Dramatic Art", where her favorite theater director Anatoly Vasiliev entrusted her to play the main roles in his productions.

Film career

Belogurova began to attend filming even before she became a certified actress. The girl had a delicate and fragile beauty that attracted directors, and offers to play a romantic heroine followed one after another. This is the type that Samvel Gasparov, the creator of the film "The Sixth" (1981), needed to embody the image of Olga in a detective story about the times of the Civil War in Russia. A couple of years later, the masters of the Lenfilm film studio, represented by director Jan Fried, decided to film the operetta Free Wind, composed by Isaac Dunaevsky. To play the main role in a musical picture, a young actress was called. Larisa managed not only to make the image of the heroine vivid and memorable, but also to show her exceptional skills in the art of dance.

The next were the roles in children's projects based on fairy tales. For "The Adventures of Little Flour" Larisa wore Amina's oriental outfit, and in "And Another Night of Scheherazade …" a beauty with clear mysterious eyes-tonsils became Malika.

A new interesting experience in the profession as a dramatic actress was the participation in the acutely social film "Farewell, Greens of Summer" directed by Elyor Ishmukhamedov. Her heroine Ulfat on the screen was going through a drama - according to the will of her parents, she had to get married, giving up happiness with a loved one close to her heart. As Larisa Belogurova later shared, here it was necessary not only to play another beauty, work on the role demanded a deep understanding of the whole tragedy of her heroine.

Critics also noted the wonderful performance of the actress in the non-standard talented film "The Renegade" (1987). Her work, together with director Valery Rubinchik, made the image of the heroine named Maria deep and full of drama. Subsequently, the actress said that only then the main secret of the tragedy was revealed to her, because only with her help can a true romantic image be revealed.

The audience also remembered the vivid image of Vivian from the film "The Island of Lost Ships". Evgeny Ginzburg and Rauf Mammadov planned to make a film in the style of a musical based on the work of the popular science fiction writer Alexander Belyaev. A star cast of actors performed songs of famous composers and dance numbers. Belogurova managed to please the audience not only with her acting, but also show remarkable plasticity, technical skill in the performance of dances.

But, perhaps, the most "stellar" for the actress was the duet with the wonderful actor Alexander Abdulov. This couple in the film "Genius" told the viewer the story of a talented inventor who was forced to implement his ideas and skills through machinations in the spirit of the hero Ilf and Petrov. According to the script, Nastya, played by the actress, was about 20 years old. The actress, on the other hand, was already over 30 at that time, but she was beautiful and fresh, so the audience did not feel the difference.

Life after cinema

The audience longed for the premieres, but they never saw the new roles of Belogurova. As her husband later recalled, new times had come. A good movie was almost never shot, and the actress refused to play in third-rate films. Moreover, the directors of the new wave saw in her only a beautiful woman, and Belogurova did not want to undress in front of the camera to please the public. However, there was no particular desire to be a movie actress either. Some explained the mysterious disappearance of the actress in the prime of her career by the fact that Belogurova had her hair cut as a nun. However, these were only rumors. The woman was indeed a believer, but her frequent visits to the St. John the Baptist Monastery were associated with something else: she, together with Abbess Taisia Solopova, worked on an audio book of memoirs.

The craving for faith in the last ten years has been especially noticeable in Larisa. She got married to her husband and lived with dreams of having a child, but she never succeeded. The woman's unspent maternal tenderness was used in caring for her nephews and her beloved cat.

Leaving life

The actress was diagnosed with a "malignant tumor" in 2002. Then there was serious treatment and a long-awaited remission. However, when after the doctors again began to insist on expensive and unpromising treatment (the disease developed quickly and affected other organs), the actress decided to “surrender to the judgment of God” and no longer visit the hospital. This talented and beautiful woman died at home in January 2015. The funeral took place at the cemetery of her native year, and her teacher and mentor Anatoly Vasiliev came to honor her memory.
