Dmitry Astrakhan's film "Everything will be fine" in the 1990s. became a cult: in a period of timelessness and crisis in social and political life and in cinema, when everyone was waiting for cardinal changes in the future, he gave hope for a successful outcome. The aspiring actors who played the main roles immediately became incredibly popular, but this did not last long. After the release of the film, they lost sight of each other, and soon completely disappeared from the screens, in some way repeating the fate of their heroes.

The topic of emigration in the 1990s. was as relevant as possible, many after the collapse of the USSR went abroad, many thought about it, but remained in the country. The director was especially close to this topic, because almost all of his relatives emigrated. But he himself not only stayed, but also continued to shoot films at a time when it was almost impossible to get money for shooting. Astrakhan formulated the main idea of the film "Everything will be fine" as follows: "". Nowadays, many of the ideas of this film seem naive and utopian, but the director certainly succeeded in one thing: he caught the atmosphere of the time when many people felt thrown overboard, the future seemed vague, and he could only dream of better days.

Some of the plot twists were prophetic for the actors. At the end of the film, the main character leaves with her fiancé to America, and her former chosen one imagines how her future fate could have developed there. And the imagination paints him such a picture: a successful and promising gentleman has drunk himself intoxicated, and the bride bitterly regrets her choice. And for the actor, who played the role of the young Nobel laureate Petya Smirnov, this scene largely predetermined the further fate, which was the most dramatic of all the participants in the filming.

Mark Goronok himself was a promising, successful and promising young man himself. At that time, he was an actor of the St. Petersburg Academic Comedy Theater and at the same time studied at the Theater Academy on the course of Dmitry Astrakhan. Their first joint work took place back in 1993 - 20-year-old Mark then played the main character in his youth in the film "You are the only one with me." Almost the entire cast took part in the director's next film "Everything will be fine" - it involved Alexander Zbruev, Irina Mazurkevich, and Valery Kravchenko, and Mark Goronok, for whom Astrakhan became the godfather in the cinema.

After the triumph in two films of Dmitry Astrakhan, Mark Goronok became incredibly popular, for some time he even, according to his confession, suffered from star fever. He received many new proposals from directors, he was accepted into the troupe of "Lenkom". However, he lasted only 9 months in the theater - after that the actor began to have serious health problems, during a blood transfusion he was infected, for a year and a half he had to move to St. Petersburg for treatment.

And after his recovery he was not accepted back. He missed the time when everyone knew about him and it was possible to continue his career. After that, a black streak began in his life - there was no work, and for some time the actor drank heavily. Later he said: "". Goronok tried to stage a play with his own money and failed. Then for 4 years he worked at the Buff Theater, and then opened an agency for organizing parties. In the past few years, he has appeared on several TV series.

The main female role in the film was played by a young actress Olga Ponizova. Her film debut took place at the age of 15, but the real popularity came to her after the release of "Everything will be fine." At the time of filming, she was a student at the Shchukin School, the director could not decide for a long time with the leading role and invited Olga's classmate Amalia Mordvinova (Goldanskaya) to audition. However, after the tests, Ponizova was approved. After the resounding success, everyone expected new work in the cinema from the actress, but she disappeared from the screens for several years.

Olga Ponizova's partners in the film admitted that they never communicated with her after filming and lost sight of her. Later it turned out that in the same 1995 the actress got married, gave birth to a son and decided to devote all her time to raising him. She returned to the set only 3 years later, playing in the television series "Waiting Room". Then again there was a three-year pause, after which the actress appeared from time to time in serials. However, she could no longer achieve a popularity comparable to that which she had in the 1990s.

For some time, the actress took part in productions of the "Theater of the Moon", then went on the stage of the capital's Youth Theater. The theater has always remained in the first place for her, and she explains her participation in the series by the material difficulties that have arisen. Soon after the birth of her son, Ponizova's marriage with TV director Andrei Chelyadinov fell apart, and in 2015 a tragedy struck, after which Olga Ponizova closed herself in and stopped appearing in public. The only son of the actress Nikita at the age of 20 died in a car accident. And before that, she did not like publicity and did not give interviews, and in the last 3 years she completely stopped communicating not only with journalists, but also with many acquaintances. She has not acted in films since 2007.

Probably the most successful among the young actors of the film can be called the creative fate of Anatoly Zhuravlev, who played Olya's unlucky fiancé, paratrooper Kolya Orlov. Initially, the director saw Mikhail Porechenkov in this character, but he did not play the "simpleton" convincingly enough, and the role went to Zhuravlev. Astrakhan said: "". In the late 1990s, he consolidated his success by playing one of the central roles in the acclaimed TV series "Birthday of the Bourgeois". And at the beginning of the XXI century, unlike many stars of the 1990s, he found his place in the new cinema, continuing to actively appear in films and TV series. At the moment, there are more than 70 works in his filmography.

Both continued to act and after that, however, Mazurkiewicz's finest hour was still the 1980s, when she played the main role in the film "Say a Word about the Poor Hussar."
