An ancient phrase claims that nothing is everlasting created in the sand. However, it was invented even before the advent of photography. And therefore even the paintings of an artist named Evewright, drawn them on the beaches, thanks to photography, they can exist for years, decades and even centuries. On the site Kulturologiya. RF we have already talked about amazing examples of beach painting. The most unusual of them is probably the cartoon Gulp, filmed on the surf line with a camera on a Nokia N8 mobile phone. However, the work of the artist Evewright is also very unusual and delightful!
The Evewright artist, unlike most of his nominee colleagues, does not create his drawings with paints, pencils or pens. Moreover, he does not even use a computer!
However, at the same time, the paintings from Evewright really amaze the imagination with their size and their originality. The fact is that they are painted on beaches around the world. And they were created during walks.
To create some of these paintings, the artist Evewright personally walked along the edge of the surf, trampling the image with his own feet. For other works, he invited a group of people walking on the sand as a team.
Some of Evewright's works are drawn during solo and mass walks of dogs, horse riders. To create his paintings, the artist also uses all kinds of equipment: snowblowers, tractors, cars, bicycles, motorcycles, etc.
Moreover, Evewright has been doing this kind of painting for eight years. During this time, he created several hundred beach paintings, each of which ceased to exist within a few minutes or hours after finishing work on it, remaining in the memory of the author and the audience only in the form of a photograph.
