An important cultural layer in the history of our state is the decorative and applied products of Russian craftsmen. It is all the more interesting to get acquainted with the magnificent illustrations of the 19th century from the book by P. A. Efremov, depicting real masterpieces - panagias of the period of the XIV-XIV centuries from the collection of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra.
It is noteworthy that the reverse side of the icon is engraved with the image of the holy martyr Nikita the besogon.
