Mojang, which plans to create a film based on the popular video game Minecraft, said in a press release that it has finally found a director for the upcoming project. It will be the creator and main star of the series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" - Rob McElhenney. It is worth noting that previously Mojang wanted to commission the production of the film to the famous director Sean Levy, who received recognition for staging such films as "Night at the Museum" and "Real Steel". However, later, the studio turned down his candidacy. It happened right after the upcoming director presented his concept of a Minecraft film. Levy wanted to make a film in the spirit of the popular 1980s children's comedy "Goonies". This approach did not work for Mojang.
How the picture will look like in the presentation of Rob McElhenney - so far nothing is known. The director still hasn't announced in which genre he plans to develop the story. However, it is reliably known that the Minecraft film will be fiction, not animated. The release of the picture on the screens is scheduled for 2019, but the release date may be postponed in the future.
Popularity came to Rob McElhenney precisely because of his work on the sitcom "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The series has been aired on FX and FXX TV channels since 2005. In the project, the comedian holds the positions of the lead screenwriter and executive producer. He also co-stars in the series. As a director, Rob worked on the 1st and 2nd seasons of the series.
Recall also that the Minecraft computer game went on sale in 2011. At the moment, over 35 million copies of the game have been sold. This game is a hybrid of a virtual construction set and a survival simulator. The game is stylized in the form of pixel art.

Tukhachevsky remained the youngest marshal of the USSR in history, having received such a high rank at only 42 years old. In his memoirs, Baron Peter Wrangel referred to him as "imagining himself to be a Russian Napoleon." I agreed with Wrangel and
