Sometimes items that are of no value in isolation, together they are a huge creative force. Getting into the hands of the talented craftsman Silas Finc, all sorts of different details and little things acquire a new purpose and meaning, they serve as small parts to create a beautiful whole. We can observe a really touching transformation, when objects of purely consumer purpose become works of art.

From an early age, the artist Silas Finch appreciated everything that was done with his own hands: his father and uncle made toys for children, and later the boy himself began to make his own crafts. He looks for inspiration in everyday life: thoughts, movements, music. Silas's mood is fully reflected in his work. He is a man of mood.

Silas Finch spends all his weekends in search of unnecessary "treasures" that he looks for in landfills or flea markets. The master works on each work separately, each work is individual. He never makes copies of already existing figures or installations. If an artist works, then immediately on only one project, begins it and brings it to its logical conclusion, and only then takes on the next one. Sometimes it takes several days, sometimes several months.

Silas does not change the shape of the individual parts that serve as his creative material, he simply ties them together, or welds them. He likes to rearrange and take apart parts to make something completely new and holistic out of it. Copper wires, threads, leather are used to attach amazing sculptural installations. The master admits that some ideas arise in the very process of work. When you see a pile of rubbish lying in front of you, a separate object in it can accidentally remind you of a part of something, revive some associations. This is how the vision of a separate image comes.
