Video: Sculptural installations from various rubbish. Works by Sayaka Ganz

Broken plastic hangers, bent forks and spoons, used plastic dishes … Who keeps such trash if it must be immediately sent to the trash heap? And who throws it away, the artist Sayaka Ganz, whose sculptural installations consist of just such rubbish, may ask with the same bewilderment.
However, one can identify this debris in Sayaka's sculptures only by looking at them up close. From a distance, they resemble either skeletons, or electrical tape, or parts of a designer. Although the electrical tape and the designer can also be components of one or another sculpture.
Despite the fact that Sayaka has a lot of such works, the main part of her creative heritage is made up of figurines of animals and birds. This is because she has always been fascinated by their grace and beauty, and this admiration has become her main inspiration in art.
At one time, Sayaka Ganz received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University Bloomington, where she studied painting, graphics, and design, but she found her creative niche in sculpture. In addition to sculptural installations from trash, Sayaka creates figurines of people and animals from metal, and also teaches drawing and design at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Vicious circles and a minimum of logic in the various works of Mircea Cantor
It's no secret that we love many artists not so much for the beauty of their work as for the opportunity to think and be surprised. Romanian artist Mircea Cantor realizes himself in this regard one hundred percent: his works are vicious circles and logical traps, be it matches with two heads invented by him or photographs with a child cutting a water jet with scissors
Forest Spirit - Plant Spirit. Reflection of the God of Nature in the works of various authors
In Western furry culture (the art of depicting anthropomorphic animals) I have long observed one interesting tendency - some images created by one author become, as it were, the public domain, they are drawn by many. This could be called fan art, but fan art is usually created based on world famous works, and here they are just separate images created by a talented person and picked up by other talented authors. In this collection I want to introduce you to the spirit
"The Good, The Bad, The Belle": sculptural mini-installations on the theme of youth life
Barnaby Barford is a skilled artisan, but prefers to work with off-the-shelf material. Using ordinary mass-produced figurines and modern mini decorations, the artist turns them into funny, noisy, sometimes ironic narrative scenes. In his latest series, The Good, The Bad, The Belle, the master explores the concept of modern youth through fast food, reckless behavior, youthful interests and preferences
