Video: Forest Spirit - Plant Spirit. Reflection of the God of Nature in the works of various authors

In Western furry culture (the art of depicting anthropomorphic animals), I have long observed one interesting tendency - some images created by one author become, as it were, the public domain, they are drawn by many. This could be called fan art, but fan art is usually created based on world famous works, and here they are just separate images created by a talented person and picked up by other talented authors. In this collection I want to introduce you to the spirit of nature Plant Spirit from Alector Fencer.
He is somewhat reminiscent of Shishigami from "Princess Mononoke". I don't know if the author was inspired by Miyazaki's work, but parallels can be traced, although the image is very distinctive. A few more works by Alector Fencer dedicated to the same character.
The idea of a "grass wolf" has been picked up and drawn by many, but unfortunately, the quality of most of the drawings is not up to par. But such a Plant Spirit was found in the selection of Kesame - also an interesting and original artist.
And this one is in the Foxfeather compilation.
And one more - by Nimrais
And, finally, and for sweetness - a sculpture made of self-hardening plastic from Ellen June

Vicious circles and a minimum of logic in the various works of Mircea Cantor
It's no secret that we love many artists not so much for the beauty of their work as for the opportunity to think and be surprised. The paper forest of human fears. Forest of Fears, art project by Elsa Mora
Culturology.RF has already written about the graceful, skillful, multifaceted work of the contemporary artist Elsa Mora, and more than once.
