At an art exhibition called July ArtWalkwhich took place in the showroom The next gallery, a real shoe "boutique" was opened under the name Shoe fly shoe … It is intended for … forest fairies, nymphs, dryads and other creatures who love and protect nature, living in forests, fields, parks and squares. Especially for this exhibition, the artist Sharla Valeski has created a line of art shoes made of flowers, grass and leaves. Although, it only at first glance seems that the shoes are entirely made from the gifts of nature. Sharla Valeski turned ordinary shoes into installations covered with moss, heather and lawn grass, decorating the resulting meadows with figures of animals and birds, as well as constructing everyday miniatures from everyday life.
However, herbal shoes, or rather art installations from Sharla Valeski, have not ceased to be functional footwear from all these manipulations. And if necessary, you can put on shoes and parade on the catwalk in the costume of a dryad, a nymph, a cheerful eccentric gardener, or any other character from a suitable fairy tale.
Works of art that, among other things, are useful - isn't this what many admirers of beauty dream about? More works by artist Sharla Valeski are on her personal website.
